Carries on the prediction to it, to ensure network capacity, carry out the optimization of network scheduling, equipment maintenance and so on, is of great significance. In this paper it introduces grey modelling method optimized by genetic algorithm. The grey prediction model of natural gas consumption is given. An example is given to verify the model and contrast the actual consumption. The result indicates that the method predicting natural gas consumption is simple and accurate, that the model has good adaptability and accuracy, and that the method is important to optimize the operation and united dispatch management of the transmission and distribution pipeline network.","PeriodicalId":294566,"journal":{"name":"2009 IITA International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems Engineering (case 2009)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133084300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gripping micro objects are required for a wide range of important applications such as the assembly of micro-parts to obtain miniature systems or component assembly in electronics packages. An effective mechanical micro and nano manipulator should possess the ability to grasp objects of different shapes steadily with high positioning accuracy. A microgripper compliant mechanism is one of the key elements in micro-robotics and micro-assembly technologies for handling micro-objects without damage. Compliant mechanisms can play an important role in the design of micro- devices for micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) applications. Compliant mechanisms are flexible structures, which can generate the desired motions by undergoing elastic deformation instead of through rigid linkage/joints as in rigid body mechanisms. The topology optimization methods search for an ideal material distribution of a structure. In this paper, topology optimization method is applied for designing a three- dimension compliant microgripper mechanism. The optimal topology configuration of the compliant microgripper mechanism is demonstrated. This compliant mechanism can be used to handle a wide range of micro and nano objects up to 400μm.","PeriodicalId":294566,"journal":{"name":"2009 IITA International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems Engineering (case 2009)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132732321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a stereo matching algorithm is proposed based on region invariant moment to detect obstacle in ALV system and several novel strategies are introduced during object region extraction stage. Firstly, a simple pre-processing method to binarize the images by the defined binarization function; Secondly, the binarization images are inner filled and segmented by using classic edge detection algorithm or outer contour tracing algorithm and regions of left and right images are detected respectively; Lastly, the regions are matched between left and right image by region invariant moment, the successful matched regions are the possible obstacle. Stereo pairs collected from ALV system are used to test the proposed algorithm, the result indicate that the approach is valid and feasible.","PeriodicalId":294566,"journal":{"name":"2009 IITA International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems Engineering (case 2009)","volume":"602 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133635518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on gradient descent method, the learning rules (i.e., weights-iterative-formula) for the constructed neural network are derived. Then global-convergence of the weights-iterative-formula is proved. As the results, a weights-direct-determination method is achieved, which could obtain the optimal weights of such a neural network in one step by using pseudo-inverse. We find the mathematical model of PMLSM in the rotationary dq coordinate contains the nonlinear term and it satisfies Lipschitz conditions. So we introduce an observer design method for Lipschitz nonlinear systems in the presence of bounded disturbances and give the stability condition of the observer with the form of LMI. Based on this method we estimate the speed of the linear motor, the result of which can be used to calculate the position of motor’s magnetic pole together with formulae. To support the theoretical concepts, we set up a sensorless linear servo control system for PMLSM.
