To meet this aim, the authors conduct an in-depth analysis of the current literature by using the systematic review method. This research paper is conceptual in origin, and it was supplemented by analysis 65 papers from various websites which hosted scientific journals. These papers employed UTAUT and UTAUT 2 as a baseline framework. The researchers focused on findings in these papers and on the core constructs of UTAUT used to predict behavioral intentions. The results from the previous studies confirmed that the four core constructs of UTAUT/UTAUT2 contributed to understanding of the behavioral intention to accept / adopt or use the technology and the performance expectancy (PE) has significantly correlated with technology adoption. Moreover, the previous studies show that UTAUT 2 has been more explanatory in predicting behavioral intentions and should be used for the future works in adopting any new technology.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125082099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, Cloud computing can change the way wherein access to and utilization of learning content by Higher Education Institutions in developing countries, in particular Nigeria, can be effectively accessed in a pay-per-use method. Consequently, lessening the expense of actualizing an independent e-learning system. While it has been extensively embraced for e-learning in first world nations, its adoption in Nigeria is exceptionally low. There is as well lack of empirical studies which investigate the factor that influence its adoption from the viewpoint of the Information and Communication Technology directorates in the Nigerian HEIs. Therefore, this study sought to explore the factors that influence the adoption of cloud computing for e-learning by amalgamating the Diffusion of Innovation as well as the Technological, Organizational, Environmental theory. A disproportionate stratified random sampling technique was used. The data were collected using a quantitative research design from 454 ICT-directorates managers in Nigerian universities. The response was assessed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The findings suggested that relative advantage, cost savings, competitive pressure, and service provider support should be considered by decision-makers in the Nigerian universities to promote the easy diffusion and adoption of the cloud services for e-learning.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116767876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite a common understanding that individual technology readiness and overall quality is an essential element in IoT-based technology success, there is a dearth of theoretical and empirical research on these elements as a facilitator of successful IoTbSFMS implementation. This study develops the IoTbSFMS validated instrument and proposes an integrated approach of instrument development through a multi-stage technique and rigorous statistical testing. Thirteen IoT experts had evaluated the content validity where two measurement items were excluded as per expert review’s suggestion, which remaining 11 constructs and 58 measurement items. The process was followed by a pre-test assessment to determine the effectiveness of the measurement items. Finally, a pilot study assessment was conducted among 33 respondents. The collected data were analysed using SPSS25, Smart-PLS, and JASP software. As a result, the Content Validity Index (CVI) for the final IoTbSFMS constructs and items was deemed acceptable (CVI =0.82). The internal consistency reliability of the measurement instruments showed that the Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega for independent variables ranged from 0.682 to 0.989 and 0.685 to 0.989. These values suggest that all the constructs had acceptable validity and reliability. This paper contributes in encouraging researchers to look beyond the traditional approach in measuring the internal consistency reliability of the measurement instruments.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114938469","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the innovation process has been widely discussed by Information Systems (IS) researchers, less is understood about the unique challenges presented when innovating information systems for environmental sustainability. This paper adopts a process perspective to investigate Green information system innovations and the factors and forces that affect the process of innovation. This study reports two qualitative and interpretive case studies in a large telecommunications company, namely, a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) system and a Sustainable Knowledge Management and Sharing (SKMS) system. The findings indicate that Green information system innovation follows distinct innovation phases and stages through complex and dynamic interactions among the key people that champion and shape the organisation’s quest towards environmental sustainability. The paper provides a Green information system in practice innovation model and a set of four theoretical propositions.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130271485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to validate the identified factors affecting the adoption of Social SCRM by Iraqi healthcare organizations. Mixed-method design was followed for sample of 8 Iraqi hospitals from surveys, including semi-structured interviews with senior IT and marketing managers from five different hospitals. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were used to analyze data and provide the requirements at the initial stage of Social CRM adoption. Findings from both survey and interview have shown that the level of Social CRM adopted by Iraqi healthcare organizations is relatively superficial in the formal integrated Social CRM strategy and policy framework. Additionally, findings of the study have further extended into the developing of proposed practical model to illustrate how Social CRM should be carried out from an organization’s strategic perspective. The developed model of this study was described by the combined three theories TOE, DOI, and institutional theory.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131478139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research examines the relationship between the inhibitors of adoption and behavioural intention to use online shopping amongst Mauritian consumers. Using a crosssectional survey, inhibitors of adoption were examined through a positivist lens. Data from a purposive sample of 268 respondents shows that online shopping are used by young adults, who are part of the Generation Y era. Perceived usefulness is a significant predictor of online shopping adoption while perceived anxiety and resistance to change are negatively related to behavioural intention, thus inhibiting online shopping adoption. These results also give credence to the dual factor theory and demonstrate that predictors of use have a stronger effect on intention to adopt online shopping than inhibitors.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134321317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent studies have discovered that the perception of government transparency greatly influences the interaction between citizens and governments and citizen trust in government via social media networks. Surveys indicate that Kuwaiti citizens lack interaction with their governments on social media networks. This problem is not straightforward to solve; Europe also faces the same issue. Governments can take advantage of social media networking to meet their operational objectives and improve service quality. Therefore, a model is needed that increases the interaction and communication between citizens and their governments. This paper presents a new model for factors influencing the continued interaction between the Kuwaiti government and its citizens via social networks (see Figure 2) based on Delone and McLean information system (IS) success model (2003) combined with the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology and both the trust and loyalty factors.","PeriodicalId":294556,"journal":{"name":"2019 6th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133637132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
