There are several system are available for numerating microbial growth. Some of the existing method may be inefficient to accurately count the overlapped microorganisms. Therefore, in this paper we proposed an efficient method for automatic segmentation and counting of microorganisms in microscopic images. This method uses a hybrid approach based on morphological operation, active contour model and counting by region labelling process. It provides high quality of important information about the analysis of human soft tissue when measured with CT imaging modalities; hence it is suitable for diagnosis at best. However, if it gives quality of information, image may distorted by noise because of image acquisition device and transmission. The noises in MR image reduces the quality of image and also damages the segmentation task which can lead to faulty diagnosis. Noises have to reduce at the same time there is no information loss. This paper propose a hybrid approach to enhance the brain tumor MRI images using combined features of Anisotropic Diffusion Filter (ADF) with Modified Decision Based Unsymmetric Trimmed Median Filter (MDBUTMF). ADF scheme provides a superior performance by removing noise while preserving image details and enhancing edges. MDBUTMF helps in image denoising as well as preserving edges satisfactorily when the noise level is high. Texture is an organized group of spatial repetitive arrangements in an image and it is a vital attribute in many image processing and computer vision applications. The objective of this work is to segment the texture sub images from the given arbitrary image. The main contribution of this work is to introduce “NEW” texture feature descriptor to the image segmentation field. The NEW texture descriptor labels the neighborhood pixels of a pixel in an image as N,W,NW,NE,WW,NN and NNE(N-North, W-West).To find the prediction value, the gradient of the intensity functions are calculated. Eight component binary vectors are formed and compared to prediction value. Finally end up with 256 possible vectors. The wrong identification of vessels may result in a large variation of these measurements, leading to a wrong clinical diagnosis. In this paper, we address the problem of automatically identifying true vessels as a post processing step to vascular structure segmentation. We model the segmented vascular structure as a vessel segment graph and formulate the problem of identifying vessels as one of finding the optimal forest in the graph given a set of constraints. We design a method to solve this optimization problem and evaluate it on a large real-world dataset of 2,446 retinal images. Experiment results are analyzed with respect to actual measurements of vessel morphology. In addition, Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) has high computation and low price. This device can be treat as an array of SIMD processor using CUDA software. This paper talks about GPU application, CUDA memory and efficient CUDA memory using Reduction kernel. High-performance GPU application requires reuse of data inside the streaming multiprocessor (SM). The reason is that onboard global memory is simply not fast enough to meet the needs of all the streaming multiprocessor on the GPU.
