In the context of career development there is a need to determine the personality type in a more efficient manner than the classic questionnaire. Moreover, in the fields of psychology and medicine, constant monitoring the patient's personality can provide information regarding his mental health status, if he suffers from mental disorders or show psychological symptoms for common physical diseases. We analyze the link between personality types and handwriting, by correlating the handwriting features with the personality primitives in a neural-network 3-level architecture. Results show an accuracy of 86.7% in determining the personality type, with highest accuracies for Extravert vs. Introvert and Thinking vs. Feeling personality primitives. The system computes the personality type in less than 1 minute, proving to be more efficient than a questionnaire and suitable for real-life use.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128459110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ministry of Health has published data on the situation of Romanian hospitals, pharmacies and medical staff, but the information is hard to be processed, due to its unstandardized formats. This article describes how the data provided by Ministry of Health are transformed into RDF triples, providing an open and standardized format. Also we use online services to add other properties and to link our dataset with other relevant datasets. The novelty of this article is that it publishes the data about the Romanian public health system in RDF format, allowing third parties to develop applications and creating a bridge of knowledge across domains and datasets.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128589346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Echocardiography is a frequently used test that allows identifying heart abnormalities. The aim of the study was to evaluate echocardiographic changes in patients with psoriasis vulgaris compared to a control group of sex- and age-matched patients without psoriasis. Our study was carried out on 31 psoriatic patients with cardiovascular comorbidities admitted to the hospital dermatology department and referred to the echocardiography laboratory. Echocardiography study was done in all patients, by using the standard methods. All patients were found to have left ventricular systolic function preserved but in the psoriatic patients, diastolic dysfunction was characterized by impaired relaxation. Wall motion abnormalities and valvular disorders were correlated with the severity and duration of the disease and provide important information in order to guide the therapy and to improve outpatients prognosis.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129268801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Antioxidant properties of fruits were evidenced by total polyphenols content of different parts of grapes (skins, pulps and seeds) in two grape cultivars (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) from two experimental fields (Copou and Bucium vineyards). The total phenolic contents of seeds ranged from 116.56 to 127.90 mg GAE/g lyophilized matter in Merlot cultivars and from 101.64 to 109.29 mg GAE/g lyophilized matter in Cabernet cultivars. Our research reveal that there are variations in total polyphenols content within investigated grape cultivars, both in terms of analyzed fruit components as well as by the location of the two collecting points.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116104949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this work was to compare the effect of three different salivary solutions on the uniaxial properties of a starch-based food product (SBFP). Extensional rheology properties of SBFP after addition of solution containing a commercial alpha-amylase, mechanically stimulated saliva, or in-vivo stimulated whole human saliva, were measured by using a CaBER (Capillary Break-up Extensional Rheometer) device. Extensional and oscillatory shear results for the different types of salivary solutions were then analysed. These results showed that in-vivo stimulated whole human saliva provides an increased SBFP elasticity, while the alpha-amylase dramatically decreases its viscoelastic functions in oscillatory shear. The results obtained also suggest that mechanically stimulated saliva and alpha-amylase aqueous solutions do not offer adequate information concerning the real extensional properties of the bolus when blended with whole human saliva.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114580452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is to evaluate retrospectively the outcome of 62 subtrochanteric fractures operated by MIPO technique using a dynamic condylar screw (DCS). According to Seinsheimer classification, there were recorded 4 fractures type IIB, 3 type IIC, 7 type IIIA, 8 type mB, 25 type IV and 15 type V The MIPO technique was simplified by the use of the two-part and two-plane alignment achieved by DCS. All fractures healed within a mean time of 12.2 weeks, There were registered 7 varus/valgus deformities above 5°, 4 leg length discrepancies over 15 mm and 1 malrotation of 20° The final outcome was excellent in 39 cases, satisfactory in 22 cases and unsatisfactory in 1 case. MIPO with DCS is still a reasonable alternative in these lessions, mainly for subtrochanteric fractures with trochanteric extension.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127616977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key feature of our model is the users do not have to involve in key revocation process. Our model utilizes an additional Key Management Server (KMS) which uses the lazy revocation technique and additional attribute keys to perform effective user revocation. It enables the cloud to differentiate user authentication sessions to protect their keys from different session attackers and this approach could perform direct user revocations from a group without user interventions. The operation does not require re-encryption of existing ciphertext. Our method supports backward and perfect forward secrecy and is escrow-free. Lastly, we present that our method is secure under the chosen identity key attack.","PeriodicalId":291361,"journal":{"name":"2015 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125896800","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
