In addition to this, designs of the modulo multipliers, namely 2n, 2n−1, and 2n+1 (with n = 4, 8, and 16), have been proposed which are based on half adders, full adders, 4:3 compressor, 7:3 compressor, and the multi-column compressor namely 5,5:4. The gate level design of 4:3 compressor is carried out by solving the truth table using the K-map reduction. To verify the functionalities we have implemented the proposed modulo multipliers using VHDL coding in Xilinx 14.2 design suite. Simulation using Virtex-6 device has been performed to estimate delay, power consumption, and power-delay product (PDP). Moreover, the modulo multipliers are simulated in Cadence RC compiler using 0.18 µm technology to estimate the area. One of the major contributions to the arts of this work is in the partial product reduction stage which utilizes the multi-column 5,5:4 compressor to reduce power and area. The modulo 2n−1 multiplier of operand size 4-bit shows an improvement of 66.34% in terms of area over the best-reported paper. On the other hand, the modulo 2n+1 multiplier of operand size 4-bit shows an improvement of 58.59% terms of in area and the same of operand size 8-bit shows an improvement of 22.72% over the best-reported paper. This testing technique is employed and developed to maximize the fault coverage of the circuit under test (CUT) using transient and frequency responses of the supply current. This testing method is based on the over-sighting of the quiescent supply current (Iddq) of the CMOS operational amplifier operating in its quiescent mode and the supply current of the CMOS operational amplifier used as a Sallen-Key band pass filter in the AC and transient operating domains. The faults investigated in our study are of bridging and open circuit types that occur at the CMOS transistor level. The Pspice software was used for the CUT simulation by applying Monte-Carlo analysis in faulty and fault free conditions. However, photovoltaic and wind energy, which are among these types of energy sources, are not steady and not available for 24 hours in a day. As an alternative, it is possible to extract and use hot water from the earth all the time. Therefore, this study proposes a thermoelectric generator that uses hot water from the hot spring area to generate free electricity as a new renewable energy source in a microgrid application. In this system, the microgrid is standalone without a battery storage system because the thermoelectric generator is in operation for 24 hours in a day (day and night). In this way, the cost of the battery is eliminated by removing it from the system. In this paper, a novel generation method is proposed in microgrid applications as a renewable energy source. In addition, load management system was implemented to control three types of residence loads. The main advantage of this study is to generate electricity from renewable sources like photovoltaic and thermoelectric to demand without much wasting energy by controlled loads according to the proposed load management algorithm. In this study, the microgrid and energy management control is modeled with MATLAB/Simulink. The major challenges like providing adequate thickness, uniformity of surface, and water wet ability associated with paper substrate have been transcended in this antenna design by laminating the substrate with a transparent sheet. The simulated and measured reflection coefficients of the fabricated antenna in free space and on human arm are remarkably good, validating the prototype’s utility. It can operate effectively in GSM, WMTS, GPS, DCS, ISM, WiMAX, HIPERLAN, WLAN, and UWB frequency bands with S11 less than -10 dB and the gain ranging from 0.94 to 9.53 dB (free space) and 1.03 to 6.07 dB (on-body). The electrical size of the proposed antenna is 0.16 λg x 0.12 λg at 0.7 GHz with a group delay below 2.3 ns over the desired frequency bands. The performance characteristics are also investigated on-body and it encompasses most of the desired frequency bands for the body area network. Exchanging the information over the WSN is very critical; therefore, it requires authentication and security mechanisms to ensure integrity and confidentiality. To avoid unauthorized use of WSN, the authentication through a digital signature turns into an essential task in WSN. Verification of individual signature is taking too much time and it is not suitable for wireless sensor network. Digital signature verification time can be reduced by using batch verification techniques in WSN. Therefore, the goal of this research is to examine and analyze the different type of batch verification algorithm based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). With respect to security, the entire algorithm is identical to the standard Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) verification algorithm. The presented inverter is one of the popular emerging topologies composed of a few switches compared to conventional topologies in order to produce a five-level output voltage. The optimization algorithm is applied to find the optimal commutation angles to implement the selective harmonic elimination by solving a system of transcendental non-linear equations. The results of the computational simulations are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis. The method is simple compared with the analytical methods, effective for driving the inverters and inexpensive to apply in real-time using a low-price DSP–Delfino-C2000-TMS320F28379D Chip. The theoretical analysis is verified by simulation using MATLAB/ Simulink environment and an experimental prototype composed of efficient electronic components, respectively. The substrate used is single-sided glass-reinforced epoxy and the antenna dimensions are 37×37×1.6 mm 3 . The antenna is compact, low-profile, circular polarized having an ARBW of around 500 MHz (center frequency 4.6 GHz). A coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed monopole antenna is used for excitation of the modified-square slot antenna that incorporates quarter section of circular symmetrical patches on the four corners. A stub orthogonal to the CPW fed monopole capacitively tunes the low Q mode as identified by CMA technique to shift to a lower frequency to create degenerate modes in military band for circular polarization generation. The 3-dB AR bandwidth of the antenna is in the frequency range 4.43- 4.9 GHz and measured value of impedance bandwidth is 3.33 GHz. The fractional ARBW and impedance BW are 10.07 % and 61.6 % respectively. The peak antenna gain in the CP frequency band is 3.75 dBic. The proposed antenna exhibits good polarization purity, the minimum axial ratio is 1.38 at 4.6 GHz. If a student wants to learn about PLCs, they will find two problems. First, training programs are expensive, and second, PLC modules are not suitable for gaining hands-on skills. This study proposes the implementation and validation of a less expensive PLC module that is accessible to students interested in learning about this technology. Two prototypes were developed using a PIC16F877 and an ATMEGA328P microcontroller. This study describes the enhancement made in the second prototype over the first prototype. Finally, a comparison test between the two prototypes and two commercial PLCs is demonstrated. A MyRIO programmed as a data logger monitored the PLC operation for 12h. The program recorded the response time of the PLC output each time a 24 volts signal was sent to its input. The results show that commercial PLC has a fast and more stable response time. It is shown that the increase in humidity in the range from 0% to 0.5%, which corresponds to its allowable change, is accompanied by a monotonic increase in the integral dielectric constant along the nonlinear dependence. The design of a high-frequency humidity sensor in the form of a band asymmetric waveguide is proposed, which transforms the latter into a phase shift of the information wave. The mathematical model is developed and the transformation equation is obtained. It has been experimentally established that the total relative error, which consists of the error of this model, the instrumental error of the hard-ware and the subjective error of removing the measured information does not exceed 2%.
