The receiver uses direct conversion architecture without RF bandpass filter. Modeling, design, and simulations of the entire receiver architecture are described. Time domain as well as frequency domain analysis and simulation were done in order to determine optimized blocks parameters of the receiver. The receiver is capable of handling a pulse repetition frequency of 10Mp/s with a pulse width of 20ns and a bandwidth of 500MHz. The receiver provides an output power level between −4.3 and −7dBm which is sufficient to drive the baseband demodulator. These examples demonstrate how ML algorithms can be employed as a defense mechanism to detect forged or tampered-with circuits. Our analysis shows that the ML detection accuracy still has not reached 100%. The selection and size of the feature vectors greatly affect the performance of the learning models, however, increasing the number of features or their size can lead to large overheads. Therefore, a thorough analysis is required to only select the appropriate- ate several relevant features that significantly contribute to the accuracy of ML models. In addition, artificial intelligence has become widely used especially in video processing domains, so a video with high quality improves the accuracy rate of this application. To meet these needs, the Versatile Video Coding standard (VVC) has appeared to give a high compression efficiency compared to high-efficiency video coding. This norm consists of a high complexity algorithm that offers an improvement in processing time and decreases the bit rate by 50 % thanks to several new compression techniques. In this context, we propose the implementation of an intra prediction decoding chain of this standard on a system on chip. In this work, we highlight the VVC feature enhancements, we present the suitable method for VVC intra-prediction decoder implementation on the PYNQ-Z2, and we provide profiling in terms of decoding time and power consumption. The development of this type of photodiodes has been the interest of researchers in the field of modern optoelectronics. In this context, we propose some improvements on the Lambert W based platform for the extraction of the electrical parameters of traditional and innovative ZnO NRs based photodiodes. The lambert method allowed us to solve the nonlinear equation that relates the current to the voltage, while the enhanced Nelder Mead algorithm and the RMSE function are iterative calculation and optimization methods respectively. The improvements were done in order to reach much smaller errors, keeping the theoretical model as close as possible to the I-V characteristic of the studied sensors. The method was applied for Zinc Oxide nanorods ZnO NRs and for the PPV-C6/ZnO NRs based heterojunctions as UV light sensors under illumination which have been studied by our team very recently. The rotational dynamics of the goalkeeper body is modeled kinematically using geometric approach and dynamically via Eulerian physics. A nonlinear control law is proposed to satisfy the stability conditions in the sense of Lyapunov. Further analysis shows that the system becomes globally asymptotically stable with zero steady state error. The simulation results demonstrate the good performance, in terms of settling time and steady state error, of the proposed law in comparison with other linear control logic. In this case, the following variants of the throughput characteristics of the drivers of the integrating correction capacitance of the Op-Amp are considered: linear without restrictions, linear with restriction, piecewise linear with a dead zone, exponential, quadratic, quasi-linear with a section of increased steepness. The limits of the applicability of the existing equations for SR are determined. The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for detecting drowsiness in drivers by adopting a real-time analysis of EEG activity. First, we introduce our database collected at the Technology and Medical Imaging (TIM) laboratory of the University of Monastir, Tunisia. Second, we propose a method for the detection of the decrease of vigilance from a single EEG channel. The interest in these phantoms is gaining momentum due to the growing market need for building non-invasive spectral sensors. In this work, lipid-emulsion based phantoms are investigated for the purpose of mimicking the skin in the shortwave infrared (SWIR) range of 1350 nm-2600 nm. Photonic Monte-Carlo simulations are used for modeling the lipid phantoms and to study their expected diffuse reflectance spectrum at different concentrations taking into account light absorption and scattering. Finger skin measurements for different subjects are used for comparison. SMOFlipid (20%)-based phantoms are prepared and measured at concentrations of 2% and 1% looking for the best match with the finger diffuse reflectance spectrum. It has touched many fields such as health, industry 4.0, smart cities, agriculture, education etc. Being a guarantee of security, the Blockchain requires to be careful with the data used. In the medical field, patient data is confidential and in order to have access to it, it is necessary to guarantee foolproof security. To do this, the best consensus to use is the PoW. In this paper, we will optimize the code and implement the PoW as an IP in order to accelerate its execution time and consequently minimize the energy consumption.
