In addition to the aforementioned, Dr. Adams is a recitalist/teacher, and soloist for the First Church of Christian Scientist; Fayetteville, Georgia. Adams performed as part of the High Museum’s “Make a Joyful Noise” exhibit, Atlanta, Georgia. He has performed over seventeen complete opera roles and more than fifteen characters in numerous opera scenes programs. Dr. Adams has performed with the New York Harlem Theatre for whom he performed as an independent Artist with their productions of Porgy and Bess in the Grand Théatre de Genéve, Switzerland, and Teatro di San Carlo, Naples, Italy. Adams also performed with the Atlanta Opera Opéra-Comique’s production of Porgy and Bess, in France, Spain, Normandy and Luxembourg. Other performances include the roles of Commendatore, Opera Festival di Roma and Rome Opera Festival; Don Alfonso, Cosí fan Tutte, and Titus, The Candlers of Callan by Sharon Willis. Dr. Adams was Music Director for Three Penny Opera and Carmen Jones; CAU Players. Adams was the Project Director for the Department of Music’s Lab Enhancement Grant; funded through Title III. He was Professor of Music-Voice, and Chair of the Department of Music at Elizabeth City State University, North Carolina. Adams also served as Head of the Division of Arts and Humanities, Professor of Music-Voice, and Chair of the Department of Fine Arts at Knoxville College, where he also directed the college choir, Knoxville, Tennessee. Robert was also Project Director for the Missouri Artists Series, Lincoln University. Adams served as President/Registrar of the Alabama Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (ALANATS). Based on the United Nations’s belief that rural women must be empowered, they are a key force in promoting agricultural and rural development, as well as food security and nutrition, by harming the environment and improving the poor. Food security and livelihoods and production activities that revitalize production and sustained economic growth have made important contributions to sustainable development. They are also important and active in the implementation of employment policies, social integration, regional and rural development, agriculture and environmental protection. Through the reflection and verification of basic theories and theories, this research conducts research on the value of structural rural food preparation and innovation. This research uses the in-depth focus group interview method and questionnaire survey method to focus on the women’s home economics groups in the Taiwan Farmers Association to analyze the business model of food preparation and inheritance. The results of the study show that there are five dimensions in the business model of agricultural food preparation and inheritance of women’s home economics groups. The contribution of this research is as follows: In response to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in rural food in Taiwan, this research has constructed an indicator model of rural food preparation and innovation value. We examine the sensitivity of the depth of the CZ to mass, stellar abundances, and input physics, and in particular, the use of a measurement of the acoustic depth to the CZ as an atmosphere-independent, absolute measure of stellar metallicities. We find that for low-mass stars on the main sequence with 0.4 M M 1.6 M , the acoustic depth to the base of the CZ, normalized by the acoustic depth to the center of the star, τcz,n, is both a strong function of mass, and varies at the 0.5%–1% per 0.1 dex level in [Z/X], and is therefore also a sensitive probe of the composition. We estimate the theoretical uncertainties in the stellar models and show that combined with reasonable observational uncertainties we can expect to measure the metallicity to within 0.15–0.3 dex for solar-like stars. Yuan","doi":"10.1515/9783110580389-030","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1515/9783110580389-030","url":null,"abstract":"The combination of magnetic symmetries and electronic band topology provides a promising route for realizing topologically nontrivial quasiparticles, and the manipulation of magnetic structures may enable the switching between topological phases, with the potential for achieving functional physical properties. Here, we report measurements of the electrical resistivity of EuCd 2 As 2 under pressure, which show an intriguing insulating dome at pressures between p c1 ∼ 1 . 0 GPa and p c2 ∼ 2 . 0 GPa, situated between two regimes with metallic transport. The insulating state can be fully suppressed by a small magnetic field, leading to a colossal negative magnetoresistance on the order of 10 5 %, accessible via a modest field of ∼ 0 . 2 T. First-principles calculations reveal that the dramatic evolution of the resistivity under pressure is due to consecutive transitions of EuCd 2 As 2 from a magnetic topological insulator to a trivial insulator, and then to a Weyl semimetal, with the latter resulting from a pressure-induced change in the magnetic ground state. Similarly, the colossal magnetoresistance results from a field-induced polarization of the magnetic moments, transforming EuCd 2 As 2 from a trivial insulator to a Weyl semimetal.
