For this, scientists have used a technology that follows the maximum power point to ensure a continuous harvest of maximum power. This technology is the MPPT. Despite the varying temperature, irradiation, or shading effects, the latter is used to derive the MPP. This method allows us to manage the necessary energy with fewer panels while also lowering the expense of extending the photovoltaic frame. Numerous regular and atypical MPPT calculations exist. This paper aims to study and analyze one of the MPPT programming methods, precisely the predictive control model approach. This method has become more interesting daily because of its optimal results compared to the results of the two traditional MPPT algorithms (the P&O and the InC). So, we used this article to simulate MPC algorithm in the MATLAB/SIMULINK software.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116500140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, Hydrogen is only rarely present by electrolysis of water, which is an electrolytic process that, breaks down water (H2O) into di oxygen and hydrogen gas, using an electric current offered by a conventional or a renewable energy source. In fact, thanks to a water electrolyzer and a fuel cell, it is possible to switch from electricity to hydrogen and vice versa, without emitting any pollutant in situ. Beyond the obvious priority goals, such as reliability and lifespan, it can be difficult to predict how fuel cells will be used in the future. Several researches treated this phenomenon, and treated the Fuel cell. In this paper, we illustrate a modeling of an Exchanged Proton Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), using Matlab/Simulink. This modeling will highlight the influence of different parameters on the efficiency of the PEMFC and the electricity produced.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"357 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120960644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study: to determine laws of change in probabilistic reliability characteristics of low-voltage electrical equipment, namely circuit breakers, magnetic starters, contactors and power transformers on the basis of statistical data on operation. To determine the laws of changes in reliability parameters of electrical equipment of power supply systems, we conduct a study of theoretical and statistical functions of the probability of no-failure operation and the probability of failure for each type of the investigated electrical equipment. The normal law of distribution was adopted for the study. The conformity of probability characteristics of electrical equipment to the normal distribution law was checked using Kolmogorov and Pearson criteria.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130728146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An individual heating point is a component of a district heating system that connects the main network with the building’s own heating system. At the initial stage, a mathematical model of an operating facility was developed and investigated, the temperature of the coolant of which is controlled using a control valve available at the facility. As an alternative option to increase the reliability of the object as a whole, it is proposed to use a frequency-controlled electric drive, instead of a control valve operating according to the developed optimal algorithm. The implementation of the proposed solution will not require a change in the layout of the room, since it is proposed to install a frequency converter on a pump already present in the structure of an individual heating point. The solution and study of the task was carried out by simulation modeling in the Matlab Simulink environment. The results obtained allow us to conclude that the proposed solution is appropriate.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132339718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The power factor of the obtained d-q model of SynRM in open loop is observed to be very low i.e., 0.309. When saliency ratio is increased by making it PMA-SynRM with NdFeBr permanent magnet (PM) power factor improves up to 0.9. But it is well known that PMA-SynRM exhibits very limited overload capability due to chances of irreversible demagnatisation of these PMs. Therefore, Maximum Power Factor Control (MPFC) is used to improve the power factor of SynRM. One of the technique for MPFC of SynRM is using Fixed Current Angle Control (FCAC). The mathematical models and control scheme is verified using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The results are encouraging, power factor is improved to 0.844 when observed under rated operating conditions.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127771454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This balancing topology has a lesser number of switches and inductor windings. The proposed control technique provides complementary pulses to switches whose duty ratio is determined by a Fuzzy Logic Controller based on the voltage difference of series UC cells. The duty ratio is adjusted such that the voltage difference keeps on reducing and finally reaches zero. This modification in the control technique is made without much addition to the components required, enabling faster balancing of cell voltages. The proposed control technique is experimentally validated using IF and 360F UC banks with four cells connected in matrix form.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116023803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article discusses the levels of reliability indicators of the elements of the 6-10 kV distribution electrical network of the city of Dushanbe expressed in the form of a quantitative assessment obtained from annual reports for the periods of 2018-2019. The data collected from the journal of the operational dispatch service for emergency shutdowns of overhead, cable power lines and power transformers with a voltage of 6-10/0.4 kV are given. The factors leading to emergency shutdowns of the considered elements of the distribution electrical network have been established. To assess the reliability indicators of the elements of the distribution electrical network with a voltage of 6-10 kV, the following reliability indicators are calculated: the intensity and frequency of failures, the average recovery time, as well as the undersupply of electricity due to a power outage associated with element failures. The results obtained show the low reliability and energy efficiency of the elements of the distribution electrical network with a voltage of 6-10 kV in the city of Dushanbe.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114332578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A promising material for improving the efficiency of OPV cells is magnetite, also known as iron oxide (Fe3 O4), which acts as a semiconductor with high electrical conductivity. In this study, Fe3 O4 magnetite nanoparticles were initially synthesized and incorporated into the hole transport layer (HTL) of the OPV, which consists of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly (styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), a conductive polymer blend. It is well known that the efficacy of OPV cells is significantly affected by the preparation conditions, including the magnetite content and thickness of the active layer. To investigate the effect of magnetite on OPV cell efficiency, varying amounts of magnetite were added to the organic layer. A comparative analysis was performed between doped PEDOT:PSS (PEDOT:PSS with added magnetite) and pristine PEDOT:PSS (a reference sample without magnetite). Characterization studies were carried out using various techniques such as FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy) and UV transmittance measurements. These analyzes aimed to gain insight into the structural, morphological and optical properties of doped and undoped layers, providing a deeper understanding of how magnetite affects the performance of OPV cells.","PeriodicalId":288300,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121344971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
