It is shown that the formation of hydrocarbon deposits is confined to the protrusive massifs of granites that underwent structural-tectonic processing at the stage of prototectonics and postmagmatic tectonics. The totality of postmultiplicative processes has led to a change in the viscosity properties of rocks, to their tectonic and material heterogeneity and stratification, and as a result to vertical and lateral redistribution in space with the formation of specific geostructures-granitic protrusions. Mechanisms of formation of a void space and traps of oil and gas within the limits of protrusions are considered. Based on the similarity of the geochemical characteristics and biomarker parameters of the oils and organic matter in the Oligocene-Miocene sediments of the cover and in the basement rocks, a conclusion has been made about the organic nature of the oils in the basement of the shelf of Vietnam.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132046640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was found that the rocks of the Dominic formation are the inorganic ion-exhanger. The determined values of the cation exchange capacity vary in the well depth within 4.81÷7.57 meq/100 g for the Domanic formation, 3,71 meq/100 g for Mendym formation and 6,22 meq/100 g for the Sargai formation. It is shown that the obtained values of the cation exchange capacity integrally correspond to the composition of the rock clay fraction (especially hydromicas) of the analyzed samples. The correlation relations of the cation exchange capacity values with the amount of hydrocarbons and kerogen in the studied rock samples are not discernible.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114981083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The task of determining several thin layers in a section can be solved using the approaches of full-wave inversion. A technique for solving the inverse problem using elastic full-wave numerical simulation is described. The recovery results show the applicability of the chosen technique for detecting several contrasting expanded inclined layers in a section based on an analysis of the spectral response characteristic in the low-frequency range of 1-10 Hz.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117351991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For experiments a complex technique developed by the authors for studying the gas permeability of rocks under conditions of hydrate and ice saturation has been used. Result of the experimental work has been presented that the decrease in gas permeability of sandy rocks during freezing is significantly influenced not only by the quantity, but also by the mineral composition of the clay component. For samples containing clay particles of kaolinite composition, permeability decreased more strongly than for samples with bentonite particles, both in frozen and thawed state. Thus, with an increase in the content of kaolin from 0 to 7%, the permeability of frozen samples decreased almost 14-fold, and when 7% of bentonite was added, the permeability decrease was less than 1.5 times. Hydrate formation of silty-sand rocks at a given moisture content (W = 14–18%) revealed that the gas permeability decreased by 1–2 orders of magnitude with the transition to 70–80% of pore moisture to hydrate. When hydrate-saturated samples freezed, their gas permeability is further reduced several times or more. This is due to the freezing out of residual pore moisture, as well as additional hydrate formation during water-ice phase transitions.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131022504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
