Investigation of the Influence of the Rate of Water Injection on the Efficiency of the Development of Fractured-porous Reservoirs

Abstract

A study was made of the influence of the rate of water injection on the efficiency of the development of fractured-porous reservoirs using a discrete fracture network model. It is established that a decrease in the rate of water injection in a fractured-porous reservoir, in contrast to a homogeneous isotropic reservoir, makes it possible to reduce the water cut of the produced liquid and to increase the final oil recovery factor.
