One such question is the question of suppressing random noise and errors in inversion of these high-density TEM and the validity of the equivalent contribution of the obtained values of the resistivity to the overall resulting geoelectrical model. For the solution of these questions, an approach based on mathematical three-dimensional modeling is proposed in the compilation of the resultant TEM of the study area.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129927281","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The geological and geophysical operations are aimed primarily at studying the geological structure of the shelf, assessing the prospects of its oil and gas potential, identifying priority large oil and gas exploration sites, assessing resources and geological risks, and determining the strategy and tactics for further geological exploration in the region. The main purpose of this work was to restore the sedimentation conditions of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic deposits in the northern part of the East Siberian and Chukchi Seas on the basis of sequence stratigraphic analysis, as well as the specification of the structure of the selected and new promising objects.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125323101","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The search for oil and gas fields in the Russian Arctic began in the 30s of the twentieth century and from the very beginning the work on the study and development of oil and gas resources lay on the shoulders of the state. In modern Russia, the subsoil use Fund, which is largely inherited from the USSR, is almost completely transferred to mining companies, which, while having sufficient reserves, refrain from large-scale financing of exploration due to high geological and economic risks, while financing of exploration from the Federal budget is also actively reduced. To date, the Arctic shelf can not yet be considered a reliable industry reserve: the effect is possible only within the framework of the state program under the strict control of the government of the Russian Federation and the state Commission on the development of the Arctic.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121855100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of course, we are talking about attempts to adapt on-land traditional methods. First of all, on the basis of a receiver-transmitter array in the form of two lines (ABMN array), that allowed to work in the motion. At the same time, a difficulty arose, that the signal was determined by the conductivity of the sea water layer, and it was difficult to isolate a useful anomalous signal. This problem was overcome in the CSEM. But it had an expensive price - a limitation of applicability (only in the deep sea) and use of very large distances. However, only CSEM is considered a recognized successful marine technology with a controlled source. The mentioned limitations of CSEM make it necessary to search for an alternative. We see such alternative in the use of an alternating TM field. Here various technical solutions are possible - a vertical electric line and a circular electric dipole, and we are discussing this.","PeriodicalId":288128,"journal":{"name":"20th conference on oil and gas geological exploration and development","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123003396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
