For the purpose of this study, a researcher at I Daycare Center in G City, Gyeonggi-do conducted participation monitoring on seven toddlers and interviewed one teacher and seven parents. From March 2015 to the end of December 2015, this researcher collected video and photo data, formal and informal interview data, and field-note of researchers, and analyzed them according to the qualitative analysis method. The results of this study were as follows: Young children formed knowledge together and explored together, learned about the forest, and enjoyed sensory experiences together. For this purpose, we conducted online and offline surveys of 205 undergraduate students at universities across the nation in Korea and the results were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. First, through one-way ANOVA, future-positive time perspective group or balanced time perspective group’s flourishing were higher than group with past-positive time perspective or restrictive time perspective. For social connectedness, balanced time perspective group and other three groups showed different result. Thus, balanced time perspective group showed higher social connectedness. Second, positive predictors of undergraduate students’ flourishing are school life satisfaction, academic achievement satisfaction, balanced time perspective and social connectedness. Lastly, social connectedness partly mediate the relationship between balanced time perspective and flourishing. Analysis was based on nine low-income older adults living alone and their nine life managers. Three themes were identified: perceptions on their caregiving relationship, different expectations between the older adults and their life managers, and efforts to improve their relationships. Regarding the perceptions on their caregiving relationship, the low-income older adults living alone thought their life managers as a family or even better than their own family. The life managers also had a rewarding experience. Despite these positive experiences in the caregiving relationship, they had different expectations for the relationship. The older adults had different perceptions of care services based on their living conditions and their relationship with their life managers. In terms of the life managers, they perceived their role as both a volunteer and a professional. In addition, they experienced difficulties in establishing different relationships with 30 individuals who have different expectations on the care service. Considering their efforts to improve their relationships, the older adults expressed their gratitude by sharing foods and prayer. The life managers also had endeavored to improve their services by acquiring professional qualifications and utilizing their personal network. The participants of this study were 355 students (145 males and 209 females) from 15 universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. To measure the level of depression, the Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression(CES-D) Scale was used. The level of self-concept clarity was assessed by the Self-concept Clarity Scale. Also, stress coping styles were measured by Coping Styles Inventory. The data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and hierarchical regressions. The moderating effects of stress coping styles were investigated using the analysis procedures proposed by Baron and Kenny . The results indicated that the levels of self-concept clarity and problem-focused coping decreased the level of depression. The results are as follows: First, participants’ adult attachment were lower than average level. Their avoidance attachment was higher than their anxiety attachment. The participants’ marriage value was the highest for the stable-romantic value. Second, according to regression analysis for adult attachment to marriage value, the planned number of child, anxiety and avoidance attachment showed significant effect for stable-romantic marriage value. For conservative-instrumental marriage value, sex, job, the planned number of child, anxiety and avoidance attachment showed significant effect. For passive-exclusive marriage value, sex, the planned number of child and anxiety attachment showed significant effect. {"title":"원감을 통해 본 사립 유치원 학부모와의 갈등 원인과 갈등관리 유형","authors":"Park Jeong Min, Kyoungsook Jae, Hyun Joo Kim","doi":"10.30528/JOLSS.2019.9.1.004","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.30528/JOLSS.2019.9.1.004","url":null,"abstract":"By exploring the typical and difficult conflicts that vice principals of rather large private kindergartens have experienced with parents, this study was attempted to identify causes of conflict between the kindergarten and parents, and conflict management types of the vice principals toward the parents; to find out effective methods to resolve the conflicts; and to review the conflicts from the point of view of the vice principals. For the purposes of this study, four vice principals with over 10 year principal career were selected as participants. The typical and difficult cases of conflicts that the vice principals had experienced with parents during the recent three years, were investigated with in-depth interviews. The results of this study are summarized in the following: First, the causes of conflict were analyzed inconvenience due to mistakes of kindergarten staffs, conflicts between parents, concern due to maladjustment of children, needs of customized individual support, and convenience orientation of parents. Second, looking at the type of conflict management of the vice principals, there are several types of conflict management: pushing hard, avoiding responsibility and accepting as requested by parents, and caring and integration.
