Although many researches have been done on this type of learning, it has not been specifically addressed to improve Q-table values and to increase the amount of reward received by the agent. One of the notable issues in this regard is the improvement of the results of the q-learning algorithm functions. Hence in order to improve the amount of received reward, a weighting matrix is proposed and defined for the set of possible actions of the agent. Since the issue of packet size and bandwidth limitation in the vehicular network affects both data aggregation and data dissemination, the proposed method uses a technique for hashing addresses. Also, for the sake of optimality, the search speed and the reduction of geo-mapping calculations, maps are split into several stages in which every stage form a grid. The first stage has the highest number of cells in its grid, and by increasing the stage of the map, the number of the corresponding cells are increased as well. Finally, the proposed protocol starts the search for suitable recipient according to the stage in which source node exists, if any recipient is found in the corresponding cell of the current stage, the packet will forward to it, and if the candidate is not found, the stage of the map will increase to the next level. The internet of things will enhance the entire health care service-delivery and can lead to reducing the immediate risk in real-time. Fog assisted health-care IoT system and Edge computing technology are an emerging paradigm that reducing emergency response time and enhanced the quality of experiences. In hierarchical architectures, the task placement strategy for a task or service is a challenge that requires a successful response. In this paper, we propose a quality of experiences-aware health monitoring application according to patients’ demands and evaluate to clarify the impacts of different scenarios. The appropriate task placement scenarios in this hierarchical architecture lead to a satisfying quality of experience for improving health services. These policies are evaluated in terms of health services delivery, energy consumption, cost of execution(CoE) in the cloud, and network usage by iFogSim toolkit. Compressive Sensing (CS) has been proposed to transfer encoder complexity to the decoder and save energy at the sender, so it has been beneficial for recently developed Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. On the other hand, in practical applications of IoT, such as Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLNs), data is prone to error, which affects the quality at the receiver side. In order to solve this issue, error control mechanisms have been employed, while they are energy-consuming. Therefore, finding an efficient method for error protection in CS encoded videos is crucial in IoT lossy networks. This paper investigates the impact of Unequal Error Protection (UEP) on different frame types for a CS video setting in IoT lossy networks. Experimental results show that making a less complex and energy-efficient encoder can be done by not treating all frames with the same error control mechanism. Instead, having no or less complicated error control methods for non-key (P and B) frames but protecting I-frames is a better solution. One of the most widely used categories in various countries is Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology, and as all people use cell-phones, it is necessary to implement electronic payment methods with cell-phones in Iran. Evaluation of the acceptability of technology can be based on different methodologies. In this paper, one of these methodologies is selected and then the statistical population is analyzed based on this methodology. For years, operators have been working on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology on SIM cards, but this technology has not been accepted by most people. According to technology acceptance methodologies, the technology acceptance model (TAM) was selected; accordingly, the acceptance rate of this technology and its expansion factors were evaluated so that it could be fully expanded in Iran via presenting innovative solutions. The statistical population consisted of 300 people who filled out our questionnaire and were examined from different perspectives. According to the observations, the main reason for the non-acceptance was the lack of a unique law by upstream organizations. Also, the lack of advertising and the introduction of this technology by prominent banks are important factors that have created obstacles and barriers in Iran. Iranian operators such as Irancell, Hamrah-e-Awal, and RighTel have taken steps simultaneously with the advent of IoE; however, these operators are in the theoretical stage. Hamrah-e-Awal Company could attract a small audience by introducing Jiring. Smart education has emerged from the use of new technologies such as IOT, which has been improving the speed of educational learning and the quality of education. Despite the interest of academics and school principals in using IOT in the field of education, there is no comprehensive framework including the applications of IOT in this field. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the applications of IOT in education. To achieve this goal, a mixed approach has been applied. In the first stage, the qualitative approach of focus group has been used to identify and categorize the related applications. In the second stage, the interval Best-Worst Method (BWM) has been applied to weigh and rank the identified applications. As a result, 38 applications were identified, grouping in four main categories, namely students, professors/institutes, and society. So, as an initial step to building a smart city, municipalities can use advanced and interactive technologies such as augmented reality to improve services provisions and citizens’ welfare. The purpose of this research is to explore how cities can use AR for installing public art projects through diverse placemaking approaches. Three internationally AR-placemaking projects as case studies reviewed briefly. Different types of solutions and layouts for each placemaking approach are illustrated to define how it has significant impacts on cities all over the world. Besides, we found that municipalities could implement strategies like cutting-edge Augmented Reality technologies and tools as a step forward toward developing smart cities. As a successful nominee for future architecture on the Internet, ICN provides a networking paradigm shift from host-oriented to content-oriented communication. This means that a user can declare its desired content by the unique name of that content irrespective of the hosting location. ICN provides high performance content distribution framework, stronger security solutions, better mobility support and scalable network architecture. It supports different naming schemes encompassing flat, hierarchical, hybrid, and attribute-value names. These properties construct ICN as an appropriate networking infrastructure for IoT applications such as smart city. ICN can better handle large IoT name spaces with lower processing resource usage. It reduces energy consumption by in-network caching of contents. Considering an NDN-based smart city, the available naming schemes can be classified into hybrid and hierarchical names. The disadvantages of the proposed naming schemes can be summarized as the long length of the names in hierarchical approach, the difficulty of finding unique content in attributed-value naming scheme, not being user-friendly in flat naming method, and complexity in hybrid naming structures. In order to meet these needs, a promising computing system based on the integration of fog and cloud computing has been recently introduced. However, this system is still in its infancy and it is associated with many challenging issues. Task scheduling problem is one of the most important ones in this context. Motivated by this, in this paper, we propose a real-time randomized algorithm to address this problem in the large-scale fog-cloud computing systems. The proposed algorithm uses the Power of Two Choices (Po2C) approach to maximize QoS while minimizing monetary cost. The efficiency of the proposed Po2C is evaluated using extensive experiments. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms the baseline scheduling strategies.
