We have also tested the moderating impact of the spiritual intelligence on the relationship between these organizational factors and the employee performance. The survey was conducted in the banking sector of Pakistan. Questionnaire distribution method was used to conduct this research. The total numbers of respondents were 365 in which the respondents were professionals belonging to different banks. The findings of this research paper indicate that due to the presence of factors such as employees get demotivated and their performance lowers down. But if they have high spiritual intelligence their experiences can be enhanced at their work place. We employed the data of seventy-five non-financial firms of the KSE-100 index from 2006 to 2018. Results report that the multiple large shareholders have a significant negative effect on dividend payouts. It implies that a weak legal structure supports large shareholders to expropriate wealth from the minorities. Moreover, we find that firms pay more dividends when they have a high level of profitability, larger assets, lower debt in the capital mix, and greater cash holding. Thus, our study contributes to the scant literature of block-holders and dividend payouts policy.","PeriodicalId":286621,"journal":{"name":"NICE Research Journal","volume":"28 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126031978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Further, research works to check whether the corporate social responsibility index plays a moderating role in the association between the financial inclusion and financial stability of Islamic banks and windows of Islamic conventional banks of Pakistan. The corporate social responsibility index was measured through the contribution of social activity to society. Financial inclusion was measured through financial access to the entire society without any discrimination against society. In this paper, samples of the Islamic banks including the Islamic window of the conventional banks for 2005 to 2020 are investigated. Further, the data is selected of the variables from the financial statement and balance sheet of the banks. The fixed effects and generalized moments of the method are employed to check the affiliation between the FI and CSR on the stability and profitability of Islamic banks. The generalized moment of method (GMM) has been employed on the panel data set to control the endogeneity from the model. The empirical results of this research study have the following conclusion: Firstly, FI has a constructive and significant impact on the financial stability and profitability of the banks. Secondly, corporate social responsibility has a positive and significant impact on stability and profitability. Finally, the interaction term corporate social responsibility has a positive and significantly moderating effect on the relationship with the financial inclusion on the stability (FS) and profitability on the Islamic banks. The main objective of the paper is to find out the intensity of income inequality in capitalistic and socialistic economies in the world. The study helps to explore the empirical evidence that how income inequality impacts the life of the people under the umbrella of concurrent economic systems. The study is based on the panel data set. The Generalized Method of Movements (GMM) is applied and the results depict that Government revenues are inversely associated with income inequality in both economic systems. It happens because government expenditures in an account of social safety nets result in a decline in income inequality. On the other side, economic growth, and employment ratio hold a positive connection with income inequality under the parasol of socialism and capitalism. This research reveals that both systems are deficient to mitigate income inequality and leave the space for a new and balanced economic system.","PeriodicalId":286621,"journal":{"name":"NICE Research Journal","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114311232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although oil rents may help a country increase its nominal gross domestic product, at the same time, it may also increase income inequality. This paper uses panel data from more than 100 countries for the period 1996–2016 to find evidence that oil rents have a non-monotonic relationship with income inequality. Natural resource abundance may reduce income inequality in the short run but increase in the long run. This paper further tests the interaction effect of fiscal decentralization and oil rents on income inequality. Although fiscal decentralization is statistically insignificant, its interaction with oil rents is negative and significant. An interesting finding of the analysis is that the interaction of fiscal decentralization and oil rents eliminated the non-monotonic relationship between oil rents and income inequality.","PeriodicalId":286621,"journal":{"name":"NICE Research Journal","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115269871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
