The structure of energy internet is similar with existing information Internet that consists of the energy router, power generation equipment, energy storage and load. Among them, the energy router is the most critical equipment that responsible for information management, voltage conversion and AC-DC conversion. Energy internet is friendly to environment with communicating with the user in real time and achieving plug and play. The development of energy internet has just begun and still in the pre-feasibility stage with many problems need to be solved.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121740142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The corrosion and scaling are common quality faults in the circulating cooling water system, which affect the operation of industrial equipment seriously. Through the analysis of the high concentrated multiple water quality data, choose the water quality parameters which have a greater impact on the corrosion rate and adhesion rate, then based on NARX neural network, the prediction model of corrosion rate and adhesion rate is established. Finally, using the VB and Matlab, the industrial circulating cooling water intelligent aided analysis platform is founded by combining with the water quality prediction model and embedding the small expert system. The platform realizes the prediction of corrosion rate and adhesion rate of water quality, and can put forward different expert advice for different forecast results. The application shows that the auxiliary analysis platform is feasible and has a good prospect.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121827185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, over the past several decades, substantial efforts of fundamental research have been devoted to the structural optimization strategies for improving and optimizing static and dynamic characteristics and reducing time and cost of manufacturing of machine tools. It is the objective of this review paper to present an overview of the advances in this area. Three types of optimization methods, namely sizing, shape, and topology optimization, are discussed and several examples are given to illustrate theories and process of these techniques. Sizing and shape optimization rely on an already existing initial design proposal for the parts. However, topology optimization tries to compute an optimum design of a structure in an available design space. Future trends of these optimization methods are discussed at the end of this paper.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125243748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gabor Wavelet filter is first used as preprocessing stage for feature extraction. Handing the characteristics with a large number of dimensions, binary encoding (BC) is applied for dimensionality reduction. Dimensionality of the feature vector is reduced by using HOG algorithm. Experiments were performed on Cohn-Kanade facial expression database and the support vector machine classifier is used for expression classification. We obtained experimental results with an average recognition rate of 92.5%, which reveals that the proposed method is superior to other Gabor Wavelet transform based approaches under the same experimental environment.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125029783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A method that using wavelength multiplexed technology of fiber Bragg grating to test temperature and strain simultaneously has been proposed. This paper studies temperature characteristics of FBG sensors and annulus elastic body. Temperature calibration experiment which is used to obtain the temperature characteristic function of FBG sensors and annulus elastic body has also been done. Through the analysis of data, the temperature characteristic of ring type dynamometer has been obtained, and it owns good linearity. By using the temperature characteristic of ring type dynamometer, the effect of temperature fluctuation on the measurement accuracy can be compensated, which can enhance the cutting force measurement precision of ring type dynamometer.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123409403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So that DEG can be directly coupled with a large mount of natural movement such as wind and ocean. This feature allows DEG has a unique prospect in renewable natural energy harvesting. In this paper, the MATLAB software simulation results showed that the traditional DEG energy harvesting circuit cannot achieve real energy harvesting, because of internal energy loss. This paper presented a self-filling energy harvesting circuit, whith only needed a precharge before harvesting and needed no external charge supplement during harvesting process. The simulation results showed that the self-filling circuit can transfer portion of the harvested energy back to DEG as bias voltage to compensate for the energy loss during energy harvesting. This new type of circuit can also increase the voltage across the storage capacitor, and harvest electrical energy continuously.","PeriodicalId":286366,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115994944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mass vector chain (MVC) is one of the classical methods, but it can only determine the NBV direction. A visual servo-based approach is proposed in this paper for determining the orientation and direction of NBV. In the proposed approach, the 2-1/2-D visual servoing is used and modified in which MVC method is employed for orientation control and the image-based visual servoing is employed for position control. The MVC method is used in an open-loop, which decreases the dimensionality of the image Jacobian. The experimental results show that the proposed method can guide the robot to the desire views automatically.
