Polysomnography, in which EEG (Electroencephalogram), heart rates, and so on are measured, is often used to measure the state of sleep. Polysomnography burdens subjects because electrodes need to be attached to their heads and chests all night long. On the other hand, wearable devices have recently become popular as small and lightweight measurement devices worn on the body due to electronic circuit downsizing. A typical example is a wrist-watch type device, which can measure heart rates and sleep status just by being worn on the wrist. This study aims to clarify the effect of using electronic devices before bedtime on the quality of sleep through experiments. The sleep state of the subjects was measured by using a wearable device in the experiments. The measured results are compared based on the three kinds of tasks to the subject in pre-sleep time: regular books, electronic books (e-books), and electronic games (e-games). The results of statistical analysis for the measured data have shown that e-books and e-games increased the time to fall asleep and decreased sleep efficiency compared to reading regular books.","PeriodicalId":282561,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128660703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the need for content size, quantity, and fidelity rise, old methods become insufficient to perform the task. The planetary scale also imposes new limitations on data continuity and uniqueness. This paper proposes a novel cloud-based planetoid terrain generation system based on software agents. The performance is also improved through vertical parallelism using Morsels and horizontal parallelism using multithreading. The workers processing generation requests are spread per cloud computation instance, so they can be further scaled as the number of requests increases.","PeriodicalId":282561,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"146 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133945114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the presence of nanoparticles in the heat agent also increases the viscosity and therefore increases the power required to pump the fluid through the system. The ratio between the beneficial effect of increased heat transfer and energy losses due to increased pumping power indicates the efficiency of using nanofluids. The pumping power of the nanofluid was previously considered for a heat agent in straight pipes or corrugated plates. In this study, the pumping power was determined for nanofluids flowing in a horizontal Slinky collector of spiral configuration. An analysis of the turbulent flow data of two types of liquids was performed: «water - Al2O3» nanofluids containing 0.1-1.3% vol. 30 nm spherical nanoparticles, and «water - TiO2» nanofluid containing 0.1-1.3% vol. 25 nm of spherical shape. Studies were conducted for the range of Reynolds numbers 10000- 45000. The influence of nanofluids «water- Al2O3» and «water-TiO2» on the hydrodynamics and pumping power of a single-phase flow in a Slinky collector was studied.","PeriodicalId":282561,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132625882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A unified approach to assessing the patient’s current condition and existing technologies are unable to quickly respond to changes in the patient’s condition due to the lack of feedback inherent in cyber-physical systems and virtual tools based on them. This restrains the development of new technologies for the rehabilitation of patients. The conducted research made it possible to state that cyber-physical systems, where a person plays the role of the object and subject of research, are effective for the rehabilitation of such patients. For the rehabilitation of patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of the vessels of the limbs, a virtual device has been developed based on the LabVIEW software and hardware platform, which combines the functions of an electrocardiograph - to determine the heart rate - and an electromyostimulator - for muscle enhancement of arterial blood flow, taking into account the heart rate. Since the device allows you to scan the work of the heart, when the frequency of its work changes, the device monitors these changes and its output signals to the electrodes attached to the muscles at the exact moment of the passage of each current wave of blood circulation, which helps to improve the patency of blood vessels and achieve a rehabilitation effect in patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of the vessels of the limbs. The conducted research made it possible to state that cyber-physical systems, where a person plays the role of the object and subject of research, are effective for the rehabilitation of such patients.","PeriodicalId":282561,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130594806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A system for analyzing student behavior during e-testing has been developed. The system is implemented on the basis of the proposed three-level client-server architecture, which provides the ability to detect user violations in real time. It is shown that the proposed approach significantly reduces decision-making time by synchronizing the interval of receiving the address of active web resources on the user’s computerю. This leads to the possibility of detection under different lighting conditions of a large number of violations at the same time, which increases the quality of recognition of various violations. A comparative analysis was carried out with existing software solutions in terms of the number of detected violations and the accuracy of face recognition. The conducted experiments confirmed the efficiency of the proposed approaches.","PeriodicalId":282561,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 17th International Conference on Computer Sciences and Information Technologies (CSIT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133635685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
