The urgency of the problem is to establish the feasibility of two directions: (a) the need to predict the value of barreling to achieve a complex energy-saving effect in metal forming technologies, (b) the development of separate software for processing experimental data to eliminate the use of expensive CAE-systems for simulation. The calculation method is based on the barreling coefficient’s exponential mathematical dependence on the cylindrical billet’s initial geometric dimensions, the degree of upsetting strain, and the required coefficients characterizing the properties of the billet material and the thermomechanical conditions of deformation. The peculiarities of the project environment impact on the work timeliness in the technological harvesting projects development systems given. Emphasis is placed on the importance of timely execution of works in these projects, as well as the resolution of tasks related to coordination of their configuration (start time, scope of work, and technical equipment). The significance of the project environment impact (biological processes of sugar beet ripening and agrometeorological conditions) on the time constraints for the implementation of works in the projects is determined. It is shown that such an influence determines the variability of the terms of the start of work and their duration, and affects the functional indicators of work efficiency in harvesting projects. The need to take into account these features in the statistical simulation model of the technological system of harvesting projects has been proved. The results of using a statistical simulation model to evaluate the effectiveness and support of decision-making in these projects are presented. The methodology and results of considering the influence of the project environment (subject and agrometeorological conditions) on the terms and timeliness of work in harvesting projects are shown. The practicality of creating simulation models and the methodology of displaying the probabilistic conditions of functioning of the technical equipment of sugar beet harvesting projects are described. Computer experiments were performed with a simulation model with given initial data and technical equipment of the project (beet harvester SKS-624 “Palesse BS624-1” and tractor-trailer-loader HTZ- 243K.20+Hawe Ruw 2500T), crop variety and limits of its production square The peculiarities of the impact of the main components of crop harvesting projects on their efficiency indicators are revealed. The simulation was performed for the given limits of the production area of sugar beet - 10-300 hectares with a step-by-step increase of 20 hectares. The study uses the Klee engine to demonstrate the effects of input clustering for the console chess game written in the C language. The clusterization algorithm is adapted to the Klee by isolating a chosen cluster from the program code. The effect of different cluster sizes on the coverage, error detection, and execution time is evaluated. Recommended values for the RFC and CBO metrics are known without correlation between them. However, there is a correlation between the RFC and CBO metrics. That is why we have performed jointly estimating the RFC and CBO metrics for 46 open-source apps developed in Java. We have constructed a prediction ellipse for the normalized RFC and CBO metrics based on the bivariate Box-Cox normalizing transformation to aid software architects and designers in managing complexity in OOD.
