It was found for the first time that formation of GaN quantum dots on the AlN surface can occur with an increase in the temperature of the GaN layer in the ammonia flow. An analysis of the chemical reactions taking place on the surface of the GaN layer was carried out, and the bare surface of GaN was also considered. Based on the chemical analysis performed, a particle was identified, namely hydrogen, whose intense desorption from the surface of the GaN layer leads to a decrease in the degree of filling of the uncompensated bonds of the bare GaN surface. Thus, a kinetic model of the 2D-3D transition was proposed, in which an increase in the surface energy of the 2D layer is associated with an increase in the degree of depletion of broken gallium bonds on the surface with hydrogen atoms.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"2014 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128313625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The issues of the formation of a three-dimensional signal are discussed when the oscillation arrives at the elements of a flat antenna array, taking into account the geometric features of the process of registering a signal with a flat digital antenna array. Equations for determining the delays between signals on adjacent elements of an equidistant antenna array are obtained. It is shown that the position of the active region of the spectrum depends on the angle of arrival of the oscillation, which can be the basis for further processing of signals, for example, for their separation, included to fighting interference.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"45 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120904613","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main advantages of the proposed method of blood typing over the standard manual method are presented. The method for studying the process of agglutination of blood cells described in the article is based on the assessment of the optical properties of the test blood sample in the form of a lying drop with added reagents with monoclonal antibodies. The test sample is subjected to mechanical vibration. The vibration of the sample is used to enhance the process of agglutination of erythrocytes and to clear the probing zone from the formed cellular agglutinates. There is significant enlightenment of the sample due to the agglutination of red blood cells in the medium analyzed. Based on registration of changes in the light intensity transmitted through a blood sample, compared to a control sample where there is no agglutination, we can judge the presence of agglutination in the sample.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117110529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radiated emission from structures with and without modal reservation was estimated in the frequency range from 0.5 to 10 GHz. Frequency dependences of the maximum values of the electric field strength and radiation patterns at frequencies of 0.5, 5, and 10 GHz are compared. It was found that the use of modal reservation reduces the radiated emission of the reserved circuit. It was revealed that the use of the proposed algorithm gives sufficiently close, in comparison to electrodynamic analysis, electric field strength magnitudes.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125195886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, X-ray radiation was supplied to the experimental cell's interelectrode region, in which single helium bubbles floated up in transformer oil at a given rate. It is shown that X-ray radiation (in the presence of PD ignition conditions according to Paschen's law) initiates PD in freely floating bubbles. Results have also been obtained showing the qualitative dependence of the number of PDs in helium bubbles on X-ray radiation intensity.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128258959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This topology is considered as a step-up front-end dc-dc converter with buck-boost functionality for integration of renewable energy sources in dc microgrids. The paper proposes the algorithm for soft transitions between half-bridge and full-bridge configurations in the input and output sides of the converter. The converter operates in a wide input voltage range with four control modes and performs soft transitions between them. The algorithm allows for linear recharging of blocking capacitors and stabilizing input voltage and current during transition intervals. The theoretical findings are corroborated with experimental study of converter capability to perform global maximum power point tracking of a photovoltaic module.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132874628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The poST language, developed at the Institute of Automation and Electrometry SB RAS, is a language for describing programs for cyber-physical systems implemented on the basis of PLCs. The service allows one to create small programs in the poST language without installing software on the user's side, which simplifies the initial acquaintance of users with the poST language. The service provides checking the syntax and semantics rules of programs and generating ST code and PLCopen XML Exchange format, which can be used in existing IEC 61131-3 development tools such as CoDeSys. The relevance of such a service is substantiated, its graphical interface and functionality are described.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122215890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
