Combining psychoanalysis with the thought of the German philosopher Walter Benjamin, oneiropolitics refers to politics of desire. Primero, se realizará una contextualización histórica respecto de la autonomía, donde se mostrará que, incluso, la sustentación teórica que la respalda es lógicamente inconsistente a la vez que oculta el elemento político que existe tras de ella. Luego, en torno a lo anterior y de acuerdo con las lecturas que nos ofrecen Ruiz Encina y Harvey, se mostrará cómo en realidad la conceptualización de la autonomía de la política monetaria responde a un claro posicionamiento neoliberal, al tiempo que se mostrará que existen fuertes discordancias entre el discurso tecnócrata de la autonomía y los reales efectos que se pueden constatar en la secuencia histórica en torno a esta, con especial énfasis en la inflación. En una segunda parte, por medio de las elaboraciones teóricas que realiza García Linera, se comprenderá este posicionamiento como una arista específica que ocurre dentro del proceso general de fetichización de lo común. These were some of Jean Baudrillard´s daring ideas in his latest work, which dealt with the final stage of hyperreality and simulation that we had entered. Despite the ridicule that Baudrillard's work has drawn, his ideas were much more nuanced than just extravagant metaphysical claims designed to baffle and surprise. Our current situation, sexually saturated, permanently connected to the internet and full of existential abandonment, seems to suggest that his diagnosis was correct. The urgency, as well as the truth of this statement, is undoubtedly as powerful today as when Marx first wrote it. However, as a popular catchphrase frequently cited by radical thinkers and activists, Thesis 11 has unfortunately become a relatively simplistic rejection of the theory in favor of a somewhat anti-intellectual view of praxis. Such is the danger of a wisdom expressed in a way that it can fit on a bumper sticker, a fate that Marx himself probably never imagined for this scathing remark. Marxism, after all, implies the dialectical unity of theory and practice, and Marx himself, of course, spent his life engaged in critical analysis or interpretation of modern capitalist societies, while remaining committed to the movement dedicated to changing the world. The essence of Thesis 11, in fact, lies not so much in the opposition between theory and practice, but in the connection that Marx makes between interpreting the world and changing it. Although interpretation is not an end, it is absolutely essential for any project to be able to imagine alternatives and transform the status quo. In this situation, hermeneutics inevitably acquires a political and critical importance. Arguably, it always carried such weight, but it has become more urgent in our time. {"title":"The Making of Abstraction. Some Hypotheses on Money, Language, and Modern Literature","authors":"R. Gerace","doi":"10.21500/22563202.5840","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21500/22563202.5840","url":null,"abstract":"The question I have tried to answer is whether there is such a thing as linguistic alienation and what its consequences are for Marxist literary studies and for understanding the so-called \"superstructure\" in general. Relevant assumptions on this subject were elaborated, above all, in the sixties and seventies by Lefebvre, Rossi-Landi, Baudrillard and Latouche, through the tabulation of a parallelism between Marx's theory of value and Saussure's theory of sign. In my opinion, all these hypotheses failed to understand the specificity of the Marxist interpretation of money, which is a very different form of semiotics, because (as Finelli and Arthur, among others, have shown) it owes much to Hegelian logic.\u0000Therefore, I try to demonstrate that, putting certain categories of semiotics and philosophy of language to interpret the critique of Marx's political economy, money is not a sign but a code: paraphrasing Lacan, it could be said that capital is configured like a language. It is not, however, a neutral language, but a linguistic praxis capable of hiding a material situation through abstractions. If this is correct, we do not need to ask how a matter (the structure) acts on a series of semantic and ideological chains (the superstructure), but to what extent capital itself, considered as a text, functions as a formal model (using Marx's words: a formelle bestimmung) for the organization of all matter in which its domain of abstraction extends. O artigo sugere que o texto de Marx, 18 Brumário de Luis Bonaparte, na forma como foi lido por Levi-Strauss, indica uma linha de aplicação do conceito que se afasta da tradição freudiana, em favor de uma abordagem antropológica descritiva. O artigo mostra que autores como Franz Fanon recorreram à noção jungiana de “inconsciente coletivo”, como um recurso metodológico importante. Para abordar tal problemática se recurrió a algunos lineamientos del pensamiento psicoanalítico aplicado al campo de la cultura, el cual abordó desde temprana data el problema de la interpretación de fenómenos socioculturales, dando cuenta de una relación de imbricación y continuidad entre las condiciones de la cultura, el funcionamiento social y los modos en que estos fenómenos encuentran un lugar de encarnación en la experiencia del sujeto.
