While examining the state of structural health, cracks are considered as the primary indicators. In the past decades, researchers have been working on various image-based pavement crack detection techniques for non-destructive evaluation. The main advantages of these techniques over manual inspection are accuracy, efficiency and cost. However, the problems associated with the existing methods are their dependence on the handcrafted features, which may not give accurate results due to insufficient feature selection. In this paper, an automatic image-based crack detection algorithm for pavement crack detection using Convolutional Neural Network is proposed. The data set was obtained from various road surfaces of United Arab Emirates (UAE) by using an unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and was used in training and validation of the proposed system. The collected data was also used to create a composite view of the road by creating a continuous mosaic. From the experimental results, it was found that the proposed system has an accuracy of 92% in the validation stage and 90% in the testing stage and can be used for crack detection of road surfaces.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124327117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The software development process over the period increased its scope and included other areas like operations with core Information Technology. Software project practices with DevOps have demonstrated how to streamline these processes, improve the quality of products with present technologies and speed up the processes. In the project cell, a university students' organization which undertake software development projects and services implemented the DevOps methodology for student projects. This model showed results with effective completion of projects. However, what was missing was robust and secure applications, increasing concern and risk involved with insecure products that brought our attention to the implementation and integration of security model into our present development process. The goal of this article is to describe the integration of DevSecOps practice to our ongoing projects that will avoid insecure practices during development.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"11 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128532886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sequenced genomes generally give information about to understand the underlying mechanisms of various biological functions in cells. However, as data is available enormously, it is really difficult to analyze them without the help of computational methods. In order to extract meaningful information from the data, we need computational techniques to biological sequence analysis. Due to digitization, the biological databases are continuously improved and updated. In other hand many Biological Databases are available which are classified as primary, secondary and composite type. While we do sequence analysis, we analyze in terms of functional or structural analysis. The hidden data certain time could not reflect in databases which may have vital role in analyzing biological results. The HMM (Hidden Markov Model) is one of the application area of artificial intelligence technique to model data analysis features. This research work here focuses on modeling DNA sequencing error with HMM by identifying hidden data from various depository of molecular databases which will help in re-sequencing genome data.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"69 5-6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114027567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is noted that for offline transactions, such as in hypermarkets, departmental stores and so on, customers transactions records are normally restricted to the relevant store, which makes it practically impossible for an external entity to be informed of the purchase details of a given customer. Consequently, little is usually known of the actual buying patterns of customers when conducting offline shopping. In this paper, we propose a novel framework, which can easily allow customers to use their smart phones to willingly provide their offline transactions data to a cloud based system for further analysis. Useful insights from analyzed customer data are then expected to support effective digital marketing activities.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121154326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As communication of data (includes text, image, audio, video etc.) is increasing now a days over an unsecure medium that is internet its security can be breached. Security of multimedia data is an important aspect because it contains valuable information. Several methodologies have been proposed for the security of data transmission over internet which includes encryption, authentication and digital signatures. For videos many cryptographic techniques are proposed for encrypting the video such as Advance Encryption Standard (AES), RC4, Simplified Data Encryption Standard (SDES), Modified Advance Encryption Standard (MAES) etc. This research paper presents the survey of existing video encryption techniques and compares their performance based on time taken for encryption and decryption of a given video size.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122954489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Authentication is verifying that the user is who he/she claims to be. Some of the mechanisms set to fight against intrusion are security questions, third-party account login, and (re)CAPTCHA. These solutions are sometimes vulnerable and can be easily exploited by hackers through bots and machine learning programs. We developed a system that enhances web and web services authentication. We tested it against an online OCR software program where it is proven robust. In addition, we conducted a survey about its ease-of-use and the results were promising.","PeriodicalId":277894,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Digitization (ICD)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121777550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
