The thickness of these films controlled by a resistive method, which ensures the production of films with a thickness of ~10 nm. Experimental results of the study of absorption of film structures of nichrome-mica, chromium-mica in the frequency range of 75–260 GHz on the installation consisting of a vector analyzer of electrical circuits R&SZVA-40 by Rohde&Schwarz with the measuring channels. The dependence of the absorption coefficient of nichrome and chromium films at the level of 0.5 in the frequency ranges 102–110 GHz, 206.6-223.6 GHz and 102-116,6 GHz, 206-226,6 GHz, respectively, is obtained. In this paper, we propose the implementation of a coupler which consists of a set of lines having high wave impedance and idle loop sets. Slit lines were added to the gaps between the loops, which made it possible to obtain a decrease in the operating frequency. The high antiemissive properties of pyrolytic graphite give a decrease in the thermionic current from 15–30 mA to zero compared to the hafnium grid. The distinctive features of each of the methods for producing the studied fullerene and aluminum thin films are shown. The analysis of profilograms and the general 3D topology of the surface of the obtained films by atomic force microscopy is carried out. A comparative analysis of the interaction of microwave electromagnetic radiation with the materials under study is given. The first one is based on the numerical solution of the Vlasov-Poisson equations using the finite volume method, and the second is based on a particle-in-cell approach in phase space. Both methods were tested on a one-dimensional vacuum diode. The calculated current-voltage characteristics of the diode are in good agreement with each other, and with space-charge limited currents, predicted by Child-Langmuir law. These methods allowed us to study near-emitter region considering electrons thermal velocity spread, and space charge cloud, and to calculate the cut off voltage.
