Agriculture 4.0 supports the adoption of intelligent systems in all spheres of farming, harvesting, irrigation, and so on. Though there is enough inclusion of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) based systems in developed countries, agriculture sector of Bangladesh did not receive that much attention. To mitigate this gap, a Big Data and IoT based architecture for crop, fisheries, and livestock has been proposed in this paper based on the existing research advancements around the world where different nodes and actuators will be implemented in field level to read environmental stimuli and forward to cloud server for processing. A thorough review work was performed on agriculture 4.0, and these framework were analysed from the perspective of Bangladesh. This paper will fulfil the requirement of a connection between the existing state of the art researches and its suitability in terms of a developing country like Bangladesh.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127115820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Food supply chains that aim at a minimized number of intermediaries are called Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs). Despite the consumer demand, SFSCs face logistics challenges that affect their performance, limit their potential benefits, and prevent them from adjusting their capacity in the face of volatile demand. In the literature, the logistics drawbacks of SFSCs are widely acknowledged; however, the available research mostly consists of descriptive studies rather than prescriptive ones that adopt modeling approaches and offer solutions to such drawbacks. This paper presents an ongoing prescriptive study that is based on a real SFSC from Lyon, France. In the study that seeks performance improvement strategies for the handled SFSC, an agent-based model is being developed on the simulation platform AnyLogic to represent the actual state of the initiative. Additionally, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being proposed for performance measurement, by considering the weaknesses of SFSCs in a general sense and the particularities of the case study. The next steps of the study will include the modeling of to-be scenarios that will be determined based on the literature and real-life information, as well as a comparison between the as-is model and the to-be models using the proposed KPIs, to offer decision support at strategic and tactical levels.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127757883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective of creating exercise set is fall prevention in elderly people since we believe that the postures able to enhance balance body movement in three muscle parts; upper limb, lower limb, and trunk. However, the effectiveness of exercise posture never be evaluated. Three physical education experts were invited to provide the score of 20 major muscles of the posture in the exercise set. The muscles were graded based on five likert scale (from strongly focus to strongly poor). The overall result shown that upper limb and lower limb were graded moderate while truck muscle was poor. The average score of each major muscle is also presented in the paper.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125073364","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since, sensor nodes are deployed in unpleasantly rough and unfriendly environment for long duration; they are subjected to faults and failure. Once the sensor node is faulty, it generates erroneous and incorrect data which result in wrong interpretation and false alarms. Therefore, there is need for fault detection in Wireless Sensor Networks. In this paper, a new fault detection approach is proposed, which is based on Spearman's correlation coefficient and K-nearest neighbor classification algorithm. The Correlation coefficient is used for revealing the internal status of sensor nodes and K-nearest neighbor algorithm is used for classifying the abnormal nodes from the normal nodes. We simulated our proposed algorithm and MCDFD and on comparison found that the proposed algorithm outperforms the existing MCDFD algorithm in terms of detection accuracy and false positive rate.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124344713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previously, the personnel in charge of information systems and plant operations were divided and worked in different concepts and methods. Nevertheless, the convergence of Industry 4.0 has encouraged the development of maintenance workforces capable of both information processing and machine maintenance. In response, an excellence center in Industry 4.0 in as aspect of computer engineering discipline is to be established to support the paradigm change in industry. The Asean Factori 4.0 project, an ERASMUS+ project funded by the European Union, is assisting with the process. The preparation of the excellence center is divided into two parts: the hardware and software definitions, and the staff preparations. The design and delivery of hardware and software is progressed according to the schedule, and the staff are being prepared as intended in the form of seminar and training. The feedback and evaluation strongly state that the audiences and the trainees are well satisfied and educated.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127883288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over the last few decades, many different approaches have been proposed for solving RCPSPs. Among them, evolutionary computation based approaches are popular. However, these approaches do not perform consistently over all types of problems because the algorithms are usually designed targeting certain type of problems and the choices of algorithmic parameters are difficult. T o address these issues, we propose a multi-operator based Genetic Algorithm (GA) for solving RCPSPs. Here, in selecting the operators, we develop a self-adaptive mechanism that helps to apply the best performing operator with a higher probability. A local search is applied to refine t he solution, a nd a n automatic restart strategy i s used to diversify the population as needed. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by solving a wide variety of test problems. The experimental results show that the proposed method delivers high-quality solutions on a lower computational budget than the existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":277436,"journal":{"name":"2022 14th International Conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA)","volume":"29 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125787218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
