Penghibur is located in the Losari Beach area in Makassar City. This research location is the city center in Makassar City which is also an icon of this city and one of the tourist and culinary centers of traditional food in Makassar City. The purpose of this research is to study the idea of Green Corridor walkability on pedestrian paths in the Losari Beach Area of Makassar and find out how it impacts on user comfort. The background of this research is the increasing attention to the development of pedestrian-friendly green spaces as part of efforts to improve the quality of the urban environment. The research method involved a field survey to look at pedestrian paths in Losari Beach Area, Makassar. The research focused on aspects related to the idea of Walkability Green Corridor, such as the use of urban parks, pedestrian safety, and additional facilities. In addition, data on user perceptions and experiences related to convenience were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The research shows that if the Green Corridor Walkability concept is applied, the Losari Beach pedestrian path will be more comfortable. Factors such as sustainability, convenience and safety influence user experience. It is hoped that the findings can assist relevant parties in planning and developing green spaces in urban areas, particularly those that focus on pedestrians. The school mosque is one type of mosque which is used by students and teachers not only for self prayer, but also congregational prayer. Due to the large number of students and teachers entering the mosque, this can cause uncomfortable and un-solemn conditions. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the comfort quality of the school mosque for the worshipers, one of which is the thermal aspect. This research aims to evaluate the thermal comfort quality of high school mosques and give design recommendations. The case study of this research is located in SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive approach. CBE Thermal Comfort tools were used to analyze the PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) from the data that was taken in the case study and confirm through user interview. Mahoney table also used to give design recommendations for case study. The result shows that this mosque gets a slightly warm sensation on all measurement places without any person inside. However, respondents stated that it would feel hotter if fulfilled by people, especially in the congregational prayer times. This study uses qualitative descriptive method that describes empirical phenomena such as aspects of function and aesthetics, elements of public space, safety and comfort through direct observation conditions of Kampung Kapitan. The purpose of this study is to analyze the open space in Kampung Kapitan as cultural heritage environment. Previous research revealed existence of open space has major influence from historical, characteristics of settled space, shape of building, cultural acculturation, natural potential, and tourist attraction to cultural heritage area. The results of the study inform that the influence of community activities makes the space as a place to socialize, tourist attraction, and an important role in the meaning of Kampung Kapitan that gives uniqueness of the villages in Palembang. The massacres in the 16th century, the existence of regulations restricting the movement of ethnic Chinese, until the riots in 1998 in the Glodok Chinatown area made their original territory abandoned by ethnic Chinese who experienced trauma so that there was no effort to preserve Chinese architecture in the area which resulted in its characteristics slowly disappearing. The West Jakarta government is seriouly concern about revitalizing the Glodok Chinatown area, so identification is needed to redefine the building with the image of Chinese architecture that once existed as the identity of the area. This study aims to find architectural elements of past and present buildings that are developing in the Glodok Chinatown area, as well as discovering changes in the shape of architectural elements that occur as a result of various events. This research begins by exploring the theory of Chinese architecture in Southeast Asia which is used as a comparison variable. The research process uses a comparative method, namely comparing elements of Chinese architecture in the past and present. This research produces a description of the changes that have occurred in past and present buildings in the Glodok Chinatown area. Hal ini juga dialami oleh Kota Naga, kota yang sedang berkembang di Filipina. Proses pemulihan pascabencana seringkali dilakukan secara terpusat dan menggunakan pendekatan top-down, sehingga terkadang bantuan yang diberikan hanya beroperasi pada kurun waktu tertentu saja dan selanjutnya terbengkalai. Ketidakefisienan tersebut timbul akibat tidak adanya partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses pemulihan pascabecana. Pendekatan budaya yang melibatkan masyarakat pada proses pemulihan lebih ideal untuk mewujudkan resiliensi masyarakat. Di Kota Naga sendiri, masyarakat memiliki semangat gotong-royong yang kuat, yang disebut bayanihan. Budaya masyarakat tersebut tercermin dalam tipologi bangunan khas lokal, Barangay Hall, yang berfungsi sebagai kantor administrasi dan tempat kegiatan komunal. Pada studi ini, potensi budaya Kota Naga akan dieksplorasi untuk merancang fasilitas pascabencana berupa bangunan pusat evakuasi. Melalui kajian literatur, studi ini memasukkan budaya bayanihan dan prinsip-prinsip bangunan tanggap bencana untuk mengusulkan tipologi Barangay Hall yang baru sebagai fasilitas pascabencana.
