All these compounds undergo Michael addition of carbon and other nucleophiles at b-carbon atom of the a,b-unsaturated system. Different carbo- and hetero-cyclic compounds can be synthesized by varying the conditions of cyclisation of the Michael adducts. In this context, it is planned to synthesize pyrazole derivatives and diazepine derivatives by reacting a,b-unsaturated compounds with different Nitrogen nucleophiles such as, o-phenylenediamine etc. The present investigation reports the unexpected hydrogenation of C=C in a,b-unsaturated nitriles and the unexpected synthesis of azine derivatives from a,b-unsaturated nitrileand hydrazinium sulphate.","PeriodicalId":274343,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF ADVANCED APPLIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133964858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cutting oil was mainly found in the wastewater. The effluent was treated using NaCl as supporting electrolyte using a cylindrical flow reactor in continuous (single pass) mode under various current densities (2-5 A/dm2) and different flow rate (10-40 L/h). By cyclic voltammetric (CV) analysis, the best condition for maximum redox reaction was found. Efficiency of COD reduction and power consumption were studied for each operating conditions. From the results maximum COD reduction of about 93.3 % was obtained at a flow rate of 10 L/h with applied current density of 4 A/dm2. FT-IR spectra studies showed that during electrooxidation, the intensities of characteristic functional groups such as C-H, O-H were reduced and also some new peaks comes to appear. Probable theory, reaction mechanism and modeling were proposed for the oxidation of machine industrial effluent. All the experimental results have indicated that electrooxidation treatment was very effective and was capable of elevating quality of the treated wastewater effluent to the reuse standard of the machine industry.","PeriodicalId":274343,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF ADVANCED APPLIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114691612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is not easy to collect consumers’ data since it takes time and effort as well as cost a lot. For such a business, the order quantity is financially critical because diving suits sizes are different from a location to another, which based on population data. In fact, the business cannot rely on one factor, whether the weight or height of the consumer to find the best fit size, both are needed. Thus, a random sample represents the whole population of the city of Jeddah with acceptable error is generated. Then a mixture distribution was applied for the generated data of all factors (weight & height) to solved the issues and improved the order quantity to serve the consumers better as well as minimize cost and increase the profit of the business.","PeriodicalId":274343,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF ADVANCED APPLIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128245680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Annually around 146000 tonne of dyes are discharged from textile industry itself. These waste water containing lot of dye contents are difficult to degrade. When these industrial effluents reach the environment, they cause mainly water pollution. In the present work, adsorption of Safranine and Amaranth dyes from aqueous solution over activated carbon obtained from cocunut shell(CSC) and palmyra fruit nut shell(PFSC) have been investigated at batch mode experiments. Experimental observations indicate that CSC has greater adsorption capacity of both dyes than PFSC. The proposed system consists of three main sections: segmentation, feature extraction, and categorization. In the segmentation phase, a system called Seeded Region Growing (SRG) is applied to separate brain tissue from other regions. In the feature extraction phase, the Histograms of Oriented Gradients (HOG) algorithm is used. Finally, in order to describe the images of the brain, we use Support Vector Machine (SVM) and classify the images in two tumor-free and tumor-grade groups, and then compare them with similar tasks. The results show a high efficiency of this approach compared to other methods. 850 MRI images have been applied to test and teach samples; the number of healthy brains is 300 and the number of defective brains is 550, and the system has achieved a precision rate of 93.2% in the categorization. SO2 gas produces environmental pollution; due to that, less quantity of sulphur to be used in fireworks composition otherwise should be avoided fully. In the atom bomb or crackers formulation the roll of sulphur is most important due to it speed up the reaction and at the same time heat produced by this composition (KNO3,Ba(NO3)2, Al and Sulphur) is less when compared to without sulphur. In the recent past, few attempts have been made to enhance the thermal conductivity of PCM by mixing different additives in the appropriate amount. Graphene nanoparticles, having higher thermal conductivity may be a potential candidate for the same, when mixed appropriately with different PCM. In present study, acetic acid , tristearin and stearic acid (CA-PA-SA) ternary eutectic mixture was impregnated into nano-graphene oxide (nano-GO) to prepare a form-stable composite PCM (CAPA-SA/nano-SiO2). The phase change temperature range of the composite PCM is 17.2 ◦C–26 ◦C, which is suitable for indoor thermal environment. The high latent heat value and thermal conductivity of the composite PCM are 169.43 kJ kg-1 and 0.68239 W (m K)-1, which is helpful to stabilize the indoor temperature for a long time and improve human comfort. Furthermore, after 500 heating/cooling cycles, the composite PCM showed good thermal and chemical stability. All the results indicated that the composite PCM is suitable for storing excess solar radiation and reducing the amount and rate of heat loss of buildings in the winter, which will help reduce building energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":274343,"journal":{"name":"JOURNAL OF ADVANCED APPLIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114150990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
