The present work aimed to investigate the role of colibactin-produced isolates of pks+ Escherichia coli in CRC disease. Among 159 specimens, which were subjected to different examinations, a total of 57.36% (n=88) of E. coli isolates were obtained, including 32.08% (n=51) of isolates from patients with CRC, including 21.4% (n=34) from fecal specimens and 10.7% (n=17) from tissue specimens as well as 23.3% (n=37) of isolates were obtained from healthy controls, including 16.4% (n=26) from fecal specimens and 6.92% (n=11) from tissue specimens. Genomic DNA was extracted from 57 selected E. coli isolates, which obtained 20 specimens (10 from CRC patients and 10 from controls) and 37 fecal specimens (21 from CRC patients and 16 from controls) for molecular detections of two genes ( uidA and pks ). All isolates of E. coli harbored uidA gene, while 11 (55.0%) of isolates were given positive for pks , including 8 (80.0%) from CRC patients and 3 (30.0%) from healthy controls. Immunofluorescence assay (IFA) was utilized to study the effect of pks + and pks - E. coli isolates on Normal human derived adipose tissue (NHF) cell line for determining the quantification of H2AX expression. The results indicated that there was significant variation in H2AX expression between pks + E. coli isolate-treated NHF and other groups. However, there was a non-significantly variation in H2AX expression between pks - E. coli isolate treated NHF and untreated NHF (as control) tissues. The results indicated that high effect of pks + E. coli on H2AX expression in NHF cell line.","PeriodicalId":273863,"journal":{"name":"Science Archives","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136257433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is considered one of the common grounds between Humans and animals (zoonosis), which is caused by the Toxoplasma gondii parasite Between (30-60%) of the world's population, the most important cause of infection with the parasite is eating uncooked meat And unwashed vegetables that are contaminated as well by touching the feces of infected cats, as most of the infected people are With this type without symptoms or they do not show obvious symptoms, early pregnancies are severe, accompanied by infection leading to spontaneous abortion, hydrocephalus, and mental retardation, while transmission rates are high Highest During the third trimester, a third of all cases of ocular toxoplasmosis occur before birth It is possible that it occurs after birth, and that this disease is congenital, possessing a parasite Toxoplasma gondii is a characteristic that distinguishes it from other opportunistic parasites, as it parasitizes on many types of hosts .This makes it spread widely) and attack various organs, but mainly it attacks the nervous system Central and Reticuloendothelial System, For over 60 years. Pyrimethamine has been combined with Sulfadiazine, a classic drug, which has a synergistic effect on different steps in the synthesis of DNA in the toxoplasmosis parasite. The study was conducted from April 2022 to March 2023, where 160 creative women were collected from the new arrivals women between the ages of (20 and 40 years) and admissions to primary health care centers in government projects or referrals to private laboratories in Iraq, After it was determined that 25% of pregnant women infected with pathogens, while 75% of pregnant women were healthy from this parasite, and the percentage of parasite infection in the age group 20-30 years was 25%, while the percentage was 75% in age group was 30-40, the percentage of women infected with toxoplasmosis by place of residence was 37.5 in urban while 62.5 in village. The percentage of women infected with toxoplasmosis who keep cats and pets is 70% while 30% are without animals. The results of the current study showed that there were significant differences in the results of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone between women infected with Toxoplasma gondii and women in the control group.","PeriodicalId":273863,"journal":{"name":"Science Archives","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136257590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To our knowledge, there are a few studies investigating Fe–Fe and Fe–S bonds using QTAIM topological analysis. Analysis of the Fe1-s1-Fe2-C3-Fe3 moiety, which is the core of the bridged cluster, showed that there is no bonding pathway between the bonding critical point and the Fe atoms. The most significant form of resistance is destruction of the ß-lactam ring by a bacterial enzyme named ß-lactamase enzyme which is essential for antibacterial activity. There are currently six β-lactamases inhibitors that can be used clinically in conjugation with the antibiotic in order to protect them from enzymatic attacks. They bind the β-lactamase enzyme thus the β-lactam antibiotic catches the transpeptidase (PBP) which has the responsibility of peptidoglycan synthesis and disables it thus causing cell wall lysis. However, in order to tackle the fast escalating ß-lactam resistance, additional research is needed in order to create novel drugs with broad-spectrum. Herein we represent the recently published works of the β-lactamases inhibitors. Until nowadays there are no clinically approved MBL inhibitors, Efforts should be put to discover and evaluate novel MBLi to impede the spread of pathogenic-resistant bacteria and minimize their global health impact. The scientists realize this fact and emphasize their effort toward MBL inhibitors.","PeriodicalId":273863,"journal":{"name":"Science Archives","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125974866","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are often called “feel-good” chemicals because they act as a pain reliever and happiness booster. The exact mechanism of endorphins can be perceived through development in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the CNS through two distinct features. The illusion of pain relief in the PNS is produced by beta-endorphins that bind to opioid receptors. In the CNS, mu-opioid receptors are more abundant in descending pain control circuits including the amygdala, mesencephalic reticular formation, periaqueductal gray matter (PAG), and rostral ventral medulla. As for the Endorphins functions, they are found in high concentrations in certain regions of the brain that help in the transmission of pain sensations, breathing, motor activity, secretion of pituitary hormones, and mood. The relationship between the secretion of endorphins and the stimulating adrenal cortex hormone came through behavioral studies that indicated that stress increases the concentrations of endorphins in the blood and brain. With parallel changes in the pain threshold. Histochemical studies suggest that opiates have important relationships with cells that contain noradrenaline and cells that contain dopamine.","PeriodicalId":273863,"journal":{"name":"Science Archives","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128732783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
