The site aims to organize existing or new activities to assist in the teaching of statistics at all levels. The site contains a list of other sites and a set of activities. The main contribution of the site is to offer an organized material in Portuguese language that covers statistics topics for all teaching levels. An important challenge is to enlarge the number of teachers that promote possibilities of active learning in their classes and, consequently, in the teaching-learning of statistics. The conventional course on LP includes simplex algorithm, duality theory, sensitivity analysis and some applications like the feedmix and transport problems. This outline seems to be distant from the mainstream curriculum in statistics. In order to partially overcome this shortcoming, we propose to introduce a technique based on linear programming called Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) on the LP courses for students of statistics. The teaching-learning process must be designed in such a way as to allow a perfect integration between technological tools and learning actions used in education. In this work, we have developed a statistics calculator for webpage with the purpose of performing the descriptive analysis of database. The web programming language used to develop this calculator was PHP together with other web languages, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This web application is going to be an important tool to help both our undergraduate and graduate students as professors in their statistics lectures or in the data analysis of their research projects. The descriptive analysis is the initial part of the data analysis used to describe, organize and summarize the collected data (Larson & Farber, 2003). Before performing the descriptive analysis is necessary to classify variables as qualitative and quantitative. In our case, we are interested in calculating the measures of location and the measures of dispersion of the quantitative variables. The measures of location calculated are minimum, maximum, mode, mean, and percentiles. The measures of dispersion calculated are range, interquartile range, variance, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. In the main window page of the statistics calculator, the sequence of data should be typed manually or imported from a text file (txt extension). Therefore, it is possible that the web application calculates the measures of position and the measure of dispersion of this database. These results are displayed in html format and the print of this content can be also requested. Portanto, o estudo tem como objetivo criar um instrumento para avaliar aplicativos voltados para o ensino de Estatística na Educação Básica, avaliando as dimensões técnicas, pedagógicas e estatística desses software. Assim, buscamos identificar aplicativos com sistema Android, na condição que os mesmos fossem gratuitos e no idioma português, em julho de 2014, identificando assim, apenas três aplicativos. Na análise, verificamos limitações nos aplicativos nas três dimensões. In a massive, 300 or more students’ classroom, the challenge is even greater. This situation is common at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Córdoba (FCE- UNC), Argentina, with more than 12,000 students. The purpose of this work is to show how to take advantage from the production of Scorm materials that facilitate the integration of resources available on the web to improve the study of statistical issues in mass classrooms through the interaction with Moodle platform. Based on Exe Learning, an SCORM was developed. This is an interactive material to complement the study of Sampling Distributions. Includes sections designed to ensure understanding of the concepts, based on the use of simulators from the Rice University and auto evaluation questions. You may visit the site at: http://aulas.eco.unc.edu.ar/course/view.php?id=7 Implemented in a course of statistical inference at FCE-UNC it seems to be a very good alternative in the search for high degree of personalization in the interaction with the students, despite the massiveness of the number of attendees. A personal score is assigned on the base of the student interaction with the Scorm and registered in Moodle. Feedback is automatically generated while using the app (correct answers are stimulated with Genial! Well done!, etc. and those wrong with clues to get to the correct answer and an expression of encouragement: Try again! It is important to remark that this kind of materials also seem to be an excellent tool to motivate teachers (materials production) and students (Statistics education in the age of social networking and distance education). Unfortunately, that is rarely the case. The strategies for teaching and learning Statistics to larger groups are very complex and yield questionable results. Learning Statistics often requires very personalized work that would be very difficult or simply impossible to achieve in a large classroom. Here we present an application, called UB-Tracking (UB: University of Barcelona), structured within the Moodle environment for teaching and managing large groups in Statistics. The application allows teachers to schedule various simultaneous tasks to monitor all the students, both working individually and in groups, and to profile those tasks by types of students. It also facilitates fast track display yield obtained during the course. During the intervention, we sought to generate discussion about the unity of the scale and the existing proportionality within. The results revealed that after only two intervention sessions, the students in all groups had a significant advancement. Although the activities required different contexts, a particular type of solution strategy for each one was not found.
