Among these topics, the automation of the actuators involved in the management of a car, and out of them the control of the steering wheel constitute one of the most complex. In this paper, automatic power steering architecture to manage the steering wheel via Ethernet controller is developed. An on-board PC is connected to the controller to permit handling by computer generated signals. A concept of dynamic conditioning was developed, which envisages support and management of the electrical grid respectively through compensation of active and reactive power with static converters and short time storage. Therefore short time fluctuation of the energy sources and changes of the load can be absorbed directly on location. By the use of dynamic storage systems an intermediate storage of the wind energy is done. This low order energy can thereby be converted into high order callable energy. The 3.3 kV IGBT based three-level half-bridge inverter topology was analyzed as an alternative to the two-level half-bridge with 6.5 kV IGBTs. The properties of primary switches, theirs selection procedure as well as inverter loss distribution, design challenges, costs of semiconductors and passive components of both concurrent topologies were evaluated and compared. It is important to understand these induced overvoltages, because equipments with electronic devices are sensitive to such disturbances. In this paper, lightning radiated electromagnetic fields caused by the return stroke are evaluated with transmission line engineering models, representing the current through the lightning channel. Integral equations are solved by means the Trapezoidal Rule, resulting in an efficient way to compute the radiated electromagnetic field. Also, the coupling between the electromagnetic field radiated by the return stroke and the overhead line is considered by using The Method of Characteristics. In this way, transmission line equations to describe voltages and currents in the overhead line are solved in order to compute the induced overvoltages. The objective of these modulations is to cancel certain harmonics of EMI and to reduce the amplitude of the remaining harmonics. A four channel parallel buck converter has been used in order to evaluate the modulations proposed. Barrero","doi":"10.1109/CPE.2009.5156018","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CPE.2009.5156018","url":null,"abstract":"This paper proposes a new method with a new platform for the measurement of the electric power quantities defined in the IEEE Standard 1459-2000 for single-phase, three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire power systems. The method consists on the implementation of a SIMULINK algorithm based on the real time domain, which obtains the fundamental positive sequence magnitudes to solve the problem. The platform selected was an embedded PC (Target) that runs the code in the MATLAB xPCTarget environment, with a PCI data acquisition card, which takes the samples of the current and voltage sensors. It can be controlled and monitored by any other PC (Host) via TCP/IP with a COM application installed, specifically created with VISUAL BASIC. The hardware and software unity creates a power quality analyzer called QUAME (QUAlity MEter).
