The proposed system operates at central frequencies of 2.6 GHz of 2.5-2.69 GHz band (Low Band (LB)) and 3.61 GHz of 3.4 – 3.8 GHz band (High Band (HB)). The proposed technique of doing pattern reconfigurability in each band is the use of standard quadrature 3dB coupler. This method allows booth to make pattern reconfigurability and decoupling excitation ports of the antenna system. Simulated and measured scattering parameters are presented in this paper. The proposed MIMO antenna system has a return loss better than – 10 dB, more than 80 percent efficiency in each band and achieves a good gain.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115272131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main advantage of this approach is that it leads to a compact voltage and current sources formulation compared to Berengers scheme. Validation and efficiency of the new scheme are illustrated and demonstrated through numerical examples in homogeneous and bi-isotropic dielectric media. The obtained numerical results show the validity and efficiency of the proposed approach in terms of stability and computational time reduction owing to its simple and easy implementation.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129499098","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new condition guaranteeing the finite frequency controller design for discrete-time systems is derived, in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). This study reduces the conservatism of the existing full-frequency design and includes it as a special case. In the end, an example is provided, to show the effectiveness of the derived results.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"58 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132570332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These include a half-wavelength dipole and a quarter -wavelength monopole mounted on top of a metal box designed for operating in GSM900, DCS1800 and PCS1900 frequency bands. In this research work, the specific absorption rate (SAR) levels of the dipole antenna is evaluated and compared with that of the monopole antenna. Four different human head models have been implemented: homogenous spherical head, spherical seven layer model, Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequin (SAM) phantom and HUGO human head model. All the simulations are done for three different distances between the antenna and the head model (5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm). The SAR levels for the head tissues are calculated for and in accordance to the two currently accepted standards: Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). All numerical simulations are performed using the Ansoft HFSS Software and CST Microwave Studio.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134280296","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Biometrics is presented as an effective solution to resolve these challenges. But this progress is a double-edged knife that allows malicious persons to reproduce biometric modalities. To overcome this problem, we propose a novel approach for palmprint fusing multiple features. These features are provided from multi-spectral images with 940nm, which allows the extraction of information under the skin of the palm. This information is impossible to reproduce. It is noted that in these images, the gray scale information is capital. In this context, Compound Local Binary Pattern (CLBP) can be an appropriate approach to construct this system, because the CLBP add an extra bit for each P bits encoded by LBP corresponding to a neighbor of the local neighborhood, in order to construct a robustious feature descriptor that exploits both the sign and the inclination information of the differences between the center and the neighbor gray values. The effectiveness of proposed approach has been verified on Casia Multi-Spectral database. The experimental results show that the recognition rates are reliable and the optimal recognition rates can reach 100% for left and right palms.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"147 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123338178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context of strong dematerialization, many technical and functional problems were raised. These issues affect most business sectors that require information literacy. In relation to the academic world, the administrative management of students, the financial management of registration fees and access rights to various services (catering, boarding school, exam classroom, university library, etc...) require a capital importance. In addition, security is today one of the major problems in the world of digital information. In this title, smart cards are identity carriers that fully contribute to securing access by enabling strong authentication. As such, in this paper we propose to build an architecture based on the use of smart cards and the Public Key infrastructure (PKI). It will allow simultaneous and secure access to different users (Student, Teacher, and Administrator) with different levels of classification.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127094313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
