Lightning trip is the biggest threat to the power grid, accounting for 70 to 90 percent of the power grid failure. Which is more likely to be struck by lightning overhead transmission lines, thus enhancing the lightning overhead lines and lightning short-circuit fault containment sphere of influence, a transmission line in a very important part of the design. Two ways for lightning overhead lines is proposed to reduce ground resistance overhead transmission lines and improve the level of the line itself mine-resistant design. The STM32F107 hardware platform (Cortex-M3 core) is used in the I/O modules. These modules and main station can combine into a complex control system, and can developed easily. I/O module is widely used in many field, but how to improve the communication reliability is the research focus. By solving the problem, the reliability of the I/O module will be improved. The main rule to be met in that type of application is that the system must tolerate at least one arbitrary single channel failure. This implies that a general redundant communication has to be provided to fulfill the requirements of a failure-tolerant system. The hardware and software mechanism are designed and implemented in I/O modules. Experimental results show that the I/O module can work properly in the case of arbitrary single channel fault. In order to support the aging society, service robots that are able to improve our comfortable lifestyle and increase longevity have been developed. However, excessive and premature robot support may cause not only the deterioration of our physical ability but also shortening of the period of well-being. In our research group, a personal robot that can carry baggage and automatically follow a human being was developed to overcome the above problem. The people that use this personal robot will be able to walk outside with empty hands, even after shopping, thus contributing to their health management. In this paper, the past prototypes of the personal robot are discussed, and the new robot is presented. Also, a human-following method based on model predictive control is proposed to realize the contradicting requirements of both shortening the relative distance between the owner and the robot and ensuring no collision. Baêta","doi":"10.1109/ICM46511.2021.9385655","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICM46511.2021.9385655","url":null,"abstract":"Over the past few years, vehicle dynamics systems have been constantly improved by new technologies due to the rapid advance in computational systems and, so, have been continually developed to enhance vehicle handling and safety of the passengers. Unfortunately, these systems require information of variables not always easy to be accessed without proper sensing. In this way, several studies had been carried out to obtain a good estimation of the variables of interest as tire-ground interaction forces and sideslip angle, to mention a few. Also, the sideslip angle relates directly to the vehicle's lateral dynamics, an important factor for control stability. Most of these studies are based on vehicles dynamics and tire models, but non-linearities contribute to the low accuracy of the models. The present work performed several simulation tests using a well-known software to access vehicle data, which was used to train a machine learning technique, neural network, to predict the vehicle body sideslip angle along the trajectory. Such tests considered high speed profiles and different friction coefficient values in order to reach as closely the slip limit. Such tests were studied to indicate which set of maneuvers could be better to obtain sideslip information within the operational range of the vehicle. The best result was obtained when training a neural network with information from slalom and lane change tests, with a validation error lower than a 1%. The front-end is used to readout large area SiPM at LAr temperature (87 K). The converter circuit, a fully-differential amplifier and two non-inverter amplifiers, was implemented using a standard 110 nm CMOS technology. Fully differential stage was designed using a Folded Cascode Operational Trans-impedance Amplifier (OTA) with a common mode feedback, a power rail of +1.25 V and −1.25 V, a power consumption of 20 mW and an unity gain in closed-loop. The converter circuit is connected, on the input, to a front-end integrated circuit. The front-end readout a SiPM tile of 24 cm2 produced in the Darkside collaboration project.
