The goal of this study is to clarify the rolling motion under fishing operation ofthe srnall purse seiners. First of a!1 we examined the boat form of the purse seiners and practical conditions of rolling motiQn under fis operations. Based Qn the data, the characteristics such boat's stability and calculated. Furthermore, the estimating characteristics of the parametric model are discussed by considering the results of a similar estimation concept based on Bayesian modelling.
