In Minangkabau culture, marriage is one of the important events in the life cycle and is a very significant transitional period in forming a small group of new families to continue the lineage. For the Minangkabau people who are Muslim, marriages are carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. There are 2 (two) types of marriages for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Ideal marriage, namely marriage between close families such as children from nephews; 2) Abstinence marriage, namely marriage that cannot be carried out like the child of a mother or father. There are 2 (two) marriage procedures for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Marriage according to female relatives, namely the woman who is the initiator in marriage and in household life, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage; 2) Marriage according to male relatives, namely the man who is the initiator in marriage and households, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage and daily living expenses. The form of marriage in Minangkabau has changed according to the times. Istana Dalam Loka was designed as a leading regional tourist attraction, yet its existence is not outstanding both in terms of management and facilities. It is expected that the research on the design of Sumbawa Batik whose pattern is inspired by Istana Dalam Loka will motivate Sumbawa people and tourists to show more appreciation towards the Istana Dalam Loka better. In addition, it can provide new ideas or alternatives related to the batik industry in Sumbawa Regency. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Methods of collecting data used are observation, literature study, and interview. The research data were analyzed to determine the design of ornamental motifs and designs of Sumbawa Batik. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with primary and secondary data sources. The research informants were the leader of Sulaman Putri Ayu, the leader of Sulaman Nova, the leader of Embroidery Bundo, and the leader of Sulaman Zahra and 6 craftsmen. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation using interview guides and observation guides. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the motif forms were roses, jasmine flowers, orchid flowers, and hibiscus flowers. The decorative patterns used in the Suji clothes for clothes are embroidered with symmetrical decorative patterns and free decorative patterns. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder, Informan penelitian yaitu pimpinan Sulaman Putri Ayu, pimpinan Sulaman Nova, pimpinan Sulaman Bundo, pimpinan Sulaman Zahra dan pengrajin berjumlah 6 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, obserasi, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan panduan wawancara dan panduan observasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bentuk motif naturalis berbentuk bunga mawar, bunga melati, bunga anggrek, dan bunga kembang sepatu. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dan dibantu dengan instrumen pendukung seperti alat tulis, kamera dan perekam suara. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara Studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kerja organisasi seni pertunjukan di Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati dikategorikan sebagai organisasi semi profesional. Karena Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati telah melakukan pendekatan manajemen, baik dari segi fungsi maupun prosesnya. Anggota Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati juga memiliki profesi lain selain pekerja seni, mereka tetap tunduk pada aturan yang berlaku dari sudut pandang etika. Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati bergerak dibidang seni dengan sistem demokrasi, dimana segala keputusan yang diambil berdasarkan hasil kesepakatan bersama, dan segala proses manajemen dilakukan dengan sebaik mungkin. Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati didirikan oleh Adityo Nugraha selaku pimpinan sanggar dan masih mampertahankan nilai-nilai budaya dalam pertunjukannya meskipun ada beberapa karya sudah termasuk seni modern.Kata Kunci: Popularitas; Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati; Manajemen Abstract This study aims to reveal and describe the Management of Performing Arts at the Binuang Sati Art Studio in managing its studio well. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, cameras and voice recorders. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and inferring data. The results showed that the workings of performing arts organizations in the Binuang Sati Art Studio are categorized as semi-professional organizations. Because Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati has taken a management approach, both in terms of function and process. Members of the Binuang Sati Art Studio also have other professions besides art workers, they are still subject to the rules that apply from an ethical point of view. Sanggar Seni Binuang Sati is engaged in art with a democratic system, where all decisions taken are based on the results of mutual agreement, and all management processes are carried out as well as possible. MIDI or Musical Instrument (with) Digital Interface, is a revolution in the development of music. Presentation of dance accompaniment using MIDI has several advantages in a technological update. MIDI innovations in this study are discussed using descriptive analysis methods. The dance accompaniment in question is a dance accompaniment that usually uses gamelan devices can be denoted in software in a system called MIDI. This topic is taken from the phenomenon that occurs in the Yogyakarta ISI Dance Department. With MIDI, a composer can relatively simple listen to his work that has been written using music notation software on his computer. The large number of choreographers who need accompaniment during the Final Project (TA), allows the availability of insufficient human resources. Therefore, MIDI can be an alternative innovation to fill or correct these deficiencies.AbstrakTulisan ini membahas tentang inovasi MIDI untuk kebutuhan iringan tari. MIDI atau Musical Instrument (with) Digital Interface, merupakan revolusi dalam perkembangan musik. Penyajian iringan tari menggunakan MIDI memiliki beberapa kelebihan dalam sebuah pembaharuan teknologi. Inovasi MIDI dalam kajian ini dibahas menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Iringan tari yang dimaksud adalah iringan tari yang biasanya menggunakan perangkat gamelan dapat dinotasikan pada software dalam sebuah sistem yang disebut MIDI. Topik ini diambil dari fenomena yang terjadi di Jurusan Tari ISI Yogyakarta. Dengan MIDI, seorang komposer bisa secara relatif sederhana mendengarkan hasil karyanya yang sudah ditulis memakai software music notation di komputernya. Banyaknya koreografer yang membutuhkan pengiring saat Tugas Akhir (TA), memungkinkan ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang tidak mencukupi. Andung Hu’s work departs from the reinterpretation of the Andung tradition, a lamentation of sorrow in the context of the death committed by the Toba Batak people. Applying the method of transformation, with the concept of transit and transition, this paper is intended as a form of elaboration of the concept of Andung Hu’s work. The data collected from the work process by Della Rosa Pangabean, which was analyzed critically-reflectively, by viewing the work process as a form of artistic research. The results of the analysis show that the transformation process from the Andung tradition in the Toba Batak society to the Andung Hu Orchestra takes three key stages, namely: interpretation; orchestration; and improvisation. The materials and tools used in the stages of the creation process are: scales; atonal technique; motive; development techniques; and taganing motifs. Karya Andung Hu berangkat dari reinterpretasi atas tradisi Andung, sebuah ratapan kesedihan dalam konteks kematian yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Batak Toba. Menerapkan metode transformasi atau alih wahana, dengan konsep transit dan transisi, tulisan ini dimaksudkan sebagai bentuk penjabaran konsep garapan dari karya Andung Hu. Data-data dihimpun dari proses berkarya oleh Della Rosa Pangabean, yang dianalisis secara kritis-reflektif, dengan memandang proses berkarya tersebut sebagai suatu bentuk penelitian artitik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa proses transformasi dari tradisi Andung dalam masyarakat Batak Toba menjadi karya Orkestra Andung Hu, menempuh tiga tahapan kunci, yakni: interpretasi; orkestrasi; dan improvisasi. Adapun bahan dan alat yang digunakan dalam tahapan proses penciptaan itu adalah: tangga nada; teknik atonal; motif; teknik pengembangan; dan motif taganing. Pure calligraphy based entirely on the principles of standard writing rules. Today's calligraphy processing often ignores the rules, where the writing of verses on paintings seems to be subject to painting, so that in the end the message that is communicated is more of appreciation. Betel leaf is a plant that propagates and rests on the trunk of another tree. The selection of betel leaf because it is a type of medicinal plant and can be synchronized with the theme of prayer in the work, and has the same benefits for health. The method used in the creation of this graphic art works through several systematic stages, namely the exploration, experimentation, and design stages. This work was done using graphic art media with high printing techniques. Media selection is based on the concern for calligraphers, as well as providing solutions or alternatives in terms of reproducing or printing a design manually before and during the MKQ competition.Keywords: khattil qur'an; betel leaf; calligraphy; high print graphics.AbstrakKarya seni berjudul “Khattil Qur’an dan Daun Sirih sebagai Ide Penciptaan Karya Seni Grafis”, mengolah huruf kaligrafi Arab murni yang dihiasi dengan motif daun sirih sebagai ide atau gagasan. Kaligrafi murni didasarkan sepenuhnya pada prinsip-prinsip atau kaidah menulis yang baku. Pengolahan seni kaligrafi masa sekarang seringkali mengabaikan kaidah, dimana tulisan ayat pada lukisan seolah-olah tunduk pada lukisan, sehingga akhirnya pesan yang terkomunikasikan lebih kepada apresiasi. Daun sirih dipilih karena merupakan jenis tanaman obat dan dapat disinkronkan dengan tema shalat pada karya, dan memiliki kesamaan manfaat untuk kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya seni grafis ini melalui beberapa tahapan sistematis, yakni tahap eksplorasi, eksperimentasi, dan perancangan. Karya ini digarap menggunakan media seni grafis dengan teknik cetak tinggi. Keadaan ini tentunya sangat berisiko bagi setiap unit kebudayaan jika tidak kuat dalam mempertahankan dirinya. Seni ulu ambek mau tidak mau harus berusaha untuk menemukan alternatif dari strategi pembelajaran guna menyikapi pandemi, salah satunya adalah mencoba pembelajaran daring dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi digital. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran daring sulit diterapkan atas ulu ambek. Sebab, seni ulu ambek sebagai bagian penting kebudayaan Pariaman, menyimpan nilai-nilai dan persepsi masyarakat Pariaman, terutama atas nilai kepemimpinan penghulu. Seni ulu ambek didefinisikan sebagai wujud dari abstraksi penghulu di Pariaman, mencakup gagasan, kelakuan, dan hasil kelakuan. The Script of Incung as a identity in Kerinci Batik aims to identify the identity contained in the Incung Script as motif of Kerinci batik. This study use as a qualitative method with descriptive data that siscuss the data in accordance with the facts encountered in the field with aesthetic studies. Data collection done through literature study, observation, interviews and matrix of data collection. Kerinci batik have two types of batik namely, Kerinci decorative batik and Incung batik with stamp techniques. The color used in the product Kerinci batik is a type of naptol and indigosol. In addition, batik cloth Kerinci is dark inaddition, batik cloth Kerinci is bright in color. The main motif of batik Kerinci is an Incung script combined with Kerinci decorative motifs flora, fauna and heirlooms which are the identity of Kerinci.Keywords: Incung Script; Kerinci; Batik; Aesthetics; IdentityABSTRAKAksara Incung merupakan sistem penulisan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Kerinci. Aksara Incung sebagai identitas batik Kerinci bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi identitas batik Kerinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data deskriptif yang membahas tentang data sesuai fakta yang ditemui di lapangan, dengan kajian estetika. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan matrik pengumpulan data. Batik kerinci memiliki dua jenis batik yaitu, batik ragam hias Kerinci dan batik Incung dengan teknik batik tulis dan cap.
