Further annealing between 1000 and 1100degC leads to a stabilised grating ~18 dB in strength. This suffers no further degradation at 1100degC for the period monitored, over 4 hrs. To determine the potential resolution of this process, two regenerated complex profiles with no phase difference between seed and processed structures is reported. This opens the way for nano-engineering of materials using thermal processing and seed templates.","PeriodicalId":269220,"journal":{"name":"2009 IEEE LEOS Annual Meeting Conference Proceedings","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125204124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
