Preserving the data in cloud has become great challenge as the end users store their privacy data in daily life. But majority of the data in the cloud storage is redundant. Cloud storage providers (CSP) are using de duplication as the technique to maintain only one of the copy of the file, by which cloud storage providers are able to minimize the management and storage overheads for data. Data de-duplication is one the mechanism which enables us to store more information with less storage space. Cloud storage system uses various data de-duplication schemes to drop redundancy. In conventional encryption, the user will initially encrypt the information along with a key he chooses and send the cipher text to cloud storage.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127088687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Android users often download applications from unauthorized and untrusted sources. Such applications may request several permissions from the user, and due to unawareness, the user may grant the required permissions. Android permissions are one of the significant sources of malware infection. By analyzing the permissions database classification of malware and benign applications can be done with the help of machine learning tools. There are a total of 330 permissions in Android applications. However, all of them may not contribute to the classification. In this paper, the proposed system investigates identifying the most influential permissions using feature reduction. The gain ratio is used for feature reduction and J48, Random Committee, Multilayer Perceptron, Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO), and Randomizable filtered classifiers are used for evaluation of the selected features. The experimentation results show that five permissions can produce near full feature accuracy, thereby optimizing the malware detection system.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125078835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some of the pages gathered by the crawler contain duplicated data. Different URLs with Similar Text are generally known as DUST. With the effect of DUST, the disk storage is wasted, quality rankings are degraded and lower user experiences. To avoid such problems, many kind of research has been recommended and the methods which are already available define only URL DUST removal and detection. The system which is going to be implemented can find and erase content DUST and URL DUST. The concept of the Metacrawler is introduced that crawl the documents and gets results from all the three search engines. The comparisons of content of every website with the another to eliminate mirrored data using k- gram paraphrase technique is defined in current method.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"241 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125351098","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been increased due to urbanisation and industrialisation. In this paper, the proposed model uses time series based forecasting for predicting air pollutant concentration. Studies have proved that using linear and nonlinear model together will greatly improve the performance. Therefore, a hybrid algorithm has been proposed to use in both the above-mentioned models. Results show that the approach of dividing the original data and merging these individual models play a key role in improving the performance. ARIMA (Auto Regressive Moving Average) and ANN (Artificial Neural Network) are considered here. This hybrid method have increased the forecasting accuracy in time series applications.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126600821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its detection with the help of an automated system is a subject undergoing intense study. This entails a need for incorporating a machine learning model for the early detection of PD. For discovering a full proof model, the cardinal prerequisite is to study the existing computational intelligent techniques in the field of research used for PD detection. Many existing models focus on singular modality or have a cursory analysis of multiple modalities. This encouraged us to provide a comparative literature study of four main modalities signifying major symptoms used for early detection of PD, namely, tremor at rest, bradykinesia, rigidity, and, voice impairment. State- of-the-art machine learning implementations namely Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree (DT), K-nearest neighbors (KNN), Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) and Gaussian Naive Bayes (GNB) are executed in these modalities with their respective datasets. Furthermore, ensemble approaches such as Random Forest Classifier (RF), Adaptive Boosting (AB) and Hard Voting (HV) are implemented. Our results are compared with those obtained with their respective researches. Among all the tests, applying Random Forest (RF) on Static Spiral Test (for detecting tremor) gave us the most significant result, i.e. the highest accuracy of 99.79%. This leads to the conclusion that the multimodal approach with the help of the ensemble method should be used to get better and accurate results.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"280 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115216246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The linear and nonlinear models have been applied to forecast electricity demand. The actual data is partially used to attain the best values of the weighting parameters (years from 1980 to 2005) and the remaining data are used for testing the models (years from 2006 to 2017). Three scenarios have been considered (high, average, and low growth) to forecast the electricity demand for Tamil Nadu till the year 2030. Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is the estimation key.
