Use of a routing protocol which is not suitable for a particular scenario may result in a loss of packets. This in turn will lead to retransmissions which has an obvious impact on bandwidth, the amount of power being consumed among various other parameters. These issues are to be considered since IoT involves Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLNs) formed using low power devices. Hence for IoT applications, Routing Protocol for LLNs (RPL) is custom designed. The objective of this study is to describe the RPL protocol and the operating system contiki which paves the way for its reliable implementation. Also, a collective information regarding RPL implementation is provided for better comparison.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125842279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Underfitting is a statistical model or a machine learning algorithm, it cannot capture the underlying trend of the data. A statistical model is said to be overfitted when it has been trained with more data. When the model is trained on fewer features, the machine will be too biased, and then the model gets under fitting problems. So, it has been required to train the model on more features and there is one more problem that occurs. To reduce the overfitting problem, regularization functions and data augmentation are used. Lasso shrinks the less important feature's coefficient to zero thus removing some feature altogether. L2 regularization, on the other hand, does not remove most of the features. A novel regularization method is proposed to overcome these problems.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130869288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet the recommender systems are being challenged by two problems. One is “how to address new users” and the other one is “how to amaze users”. The problem is known as a cold-start recommendation. In this paper, how the products are handled in the e-commerce retailers getting sold out soon, and products remain stagnant for a long duration isdiscussed. To overcome this problem, the selling of products to customers of the same kind based is tracked on the previous purchase by using clustering and classification algorithms. To recommend combo products to users and general recommendation based on user point of interest and product transaction details. This way the retailers are getting helped to gain some profit which is not sold for a long period.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131019461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This LNA design involves two stages, the common source cascade, and the cascode stage. The proposed circuit improves the noise figure (NF) and power gain (S21) of LNA by utilizing the cumulative effect of the input matching network and body bias technique. The work is implemented using the tool “Advanced Design System” (ADS). The simulation results show a power gain (S21) of 26.925 dB and a noise figure of 1.505. The other scattering parameters are also observed with input return loss (S 11) of-11.989 dB, output return loss (S22) of −10.397 dB, and reverse isolation (S12) of −53.030 dB. But some nutrient level in the soil is declining because of the usage of more fertilizers. Due to this, the crop production is falling. Hence, to increase the crop yield, the proposed methodology exploits all the soil micro and macronutrients of the soil to predict the crop suitability for a region. During the data categorization, beyond rough set, the fuzzy logic is used to handle the boundary values of the numerical features to improve the accuracy of the prediction. Rough set based rule induction method is used to generate the rules and the crop suitability is predicted according to the fuzzy rules. The results are benchmarked with algorithms like CN2, LEM2, AQ, and Indiscernibility. The discretized and fuzzified datasets are considered for experimental purposes. The performance of the algorithms is evaluated based on the different evaluation parameters like precision, recall, f1 score, and accuracy. The experimental results proved that fuzzy rules evolved by the LEM2 algorithm give higher prediction accuracy when compared to other algorithms for both the discretized and fuzzified datasets.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124155077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But most virtual roller coaster rides are dependent on artificially made environments that seem fake and are not at all realistic. This study focuses on the use of motion chair, 360° roller coaster videos, and the use of optical flow to create a roller coaster system that is more realistic. Using optical flow to determine movements in the 360° video that is sent to the created motion chair, while the video is played on the connected android phone for viewing of the video. The solution proved that acquiring 3D movements of roller coaster in 360° video is possible through the proposed method by the researchers but provides the problem of level of accuracy of movements. The optical flow is used to determine the movement of pixels from its current to previous movement, the gathered data in the whole video that is processed with optical flow is filtered to acquire the estimated angle of the movement of the roller coaster int the video. It was also proven that the created motion chair can execute the calculated movements of the program but relating it to the 15° maximum and -15° minimum movement of the created motion chair. Finally, the realism of the created system is evaluated by respondents that have previously experienced riding rollercoaster rides in real life.","PeriodicalId":267795,"journal":{"name":"2020 4th International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI)(48184)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114314900","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
