Team sports can be considered as complex activities containing a considerable number of abstract datasets and participant categories, such as athletes, coaches, referees and spectators. This paper proposes that the field of visualization has been applied within team sports in various ways to provide these participants with representations of these datasets. This has resulted in data-augmented games which are easier to play, judge and watch respectively. This paper provides a review of past and current applications of visualization within team sports. A model is presented to classify sports visualizations along conceptual axes. There is a strong need for improved and integrated computer-based screening tools in order to facilitate objective and reliable driver training assessments. This paper describes a system that analyses videos of driving sessions collected by on-board Web-cameras. The system detects and tracks lane markings in order to estimate the relative position of the vehicle with respect to its lane. The system is computationally efficient as it exploits fully the off-line nature of the data. The analysis of the video recording is performed in reverse temporal order. This paper introduces the teletext standard of ETS300706 and it's display method on the OSD without VBI module. Teletext data extraction from MPEGII stream and data decoding in the set-top box are focused in this paper. A new method is used to cache packets quickly and display pages steadily on the OSD. We have presented offline and online signature verification system, based on the signature invariants and its dynamic features. The proposed system segments each signature based on its perceptually important points and then, for each segment, computes a number of features that are scale, rotation and displacement invariant. The normalized moments and the normalized Fourier descriptors are used for this invariancy, while the speed of pen is used as a dynamic feature of the signature. In both cases the data acquisition, pre-processing, feature extraction and comparison steps are analyzed and discussed. Both static and dynamic features were used as an input to a neural network. The neural network used for classification is a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) with one input layer, one hidden layer and one output layer. Hopfield networks are iterative auto-associative networks consisting of a single layer of fully connected processing elements thus categorizes as an associative memory. Associative memories provide one approach to the computer-engineering problem of storing and retrieving data which is based on content rather than storage address. HNN deals with the bipolar system (i.e. -1 and +1) for direct input data, however it is useful for binary images, but unuseful for gray-level or color images unless we suppose another way for input data of such images. To overcome this obstacle, one can suppose for 8-bit gray-level image that consists of 8-layers (bitplanes) of binaries can be represented as bipolar data. In this way it is possible to express each bitplane as single binary image for HNN. The experimental results showed the usefulness of using HNN in gray-level images recognition with good results. According to the chaotic theory of dynamic systems and modern cryptography, we solved the following technique. First, how to generate chaotic sequence having good randomness according to the characteristic that logistic chaotic systems are extremely sensitive to the initial condition? Secondly, how to create a series of one-way hash being as block-key from the chaotic sequences? Thirdly, during the process of JPEG compression coding, how to implement the image compression and encryption by using the block cipher? In the analysis of the algorithm, we discuss the randomness of the chaotic sequence in detail. We also analyze the security and anti-collision of the chaotic hash sequence by several variant methods. The previous method can synthesize virtual viewpoint images at only intermediate viewpoint between real cameras. The previous method estimates only pixel-wise correspondences between input images for synthesizing virtual viewpoint images without a 3D reconstruction. In this paper, we propose a new method that can synthesize virtual viewpoint images at free-viewpoints which are not limited at intermediate viewpoint by reconstructing simple 3D models. To reconstruct the object soccer scene, we perform camera calibration without marker objects because we can save labor to put such objects on the soccer ground. For reconstructing of dynamic regions, we employ a billboard representation of dynamic regions. The position of the billboard is determined by tracking the players. The billboard representation can realize a simple 3D reconstruction and transform textures into the appropriate appearance of the aspect of dynamic regions at virtual viewpoint. We also introduce the choice of optimal cameras for rendering on the billboard. We choose the optimal camera that has the most similar texture at virtual viewpoint. The geometrical arrangement of pixels on hexagonal structure can be described in terms of a hexagonal grid. Hexagonal structure provides an easy way for image translation and rotation transformations. However, all the existing hardware for capturing image and for displaying image are produced based on square architecture. It has become a serious problem affecting the advanced research based on hexagonal structure. In this paper, we introduce a new virtual hexagonal structure. Based on this virtual structure, a more flexible and powerful image translation and rotation are performed. The virtual hexagonal structure retains image resolution during the process of image transformations, and does not introduce distortion.
