This is closely related to the emotional intelligence of early childhood parents, which is a reflection of their emotional literacy. This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence of early childhood parents in Indonesia at the time of Covid-19, with a sample of 641 early childhood parents living in the capital city of Jakarta. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on Daniel Goleman's five dimensions of emotional intelligence, namely: self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy, and work together. Analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential quantitative data analysis. The validity of the instruments ranged from 0.323 to 0.603 with reliability of r = 0.625 to 0.731. The results showed that most of the emotional intelligence of early childhood parents in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic was in the sufficient category (78%). The absence of a correlation between work together with self-awareness (F = -0.026; p> 0.05), self-regulation (F = 0.005; p> 0.05), and empathy (F = 0.002; p> 0.005) indicated that parents still need to increase their self-sensitivity and empathy for their children so that they can do positive parenting during the Covid-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":264524,"journal":{"name":"Psychosophia: Journal of Psychology, Religion, and Humanity","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129117536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the benefit of using a smartphone, a growing body of research has reported smartphone use's negative effect. Lack of self-control has been associated with problematic use of smartphones as well as stress. However, there is still little evidence of how religiosity could have an impact on problematic smartphone use. This study aimed to examine the indirect effect of religiosity on problematic smartphone use via self-control and stress. A few 146 undergraduate students enrolled in this study. They completed an online survey comprising problematic smartphone use, religiosity, self-control, and stress. Our findings showed a negative association between religiosity or self-control with problematic smartphone use. Stress also correlated positively with problematic smartphone use. Path analysis demonstrated the mediation effect of self-control on religiosity and problematic smartphone use, but not the stress. These results underlined the psychological mechanism underlying smartphone use of students. Moreover, religiosity could be considered to prevent the detrimental effect of problematic smartphone use. The results of several studies indicate that followership has several positive impacts. One type of followership that exists is authentic followership. Several scholars have created several authentic followership models that have been published in journals. In this paper, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of existing authentic followership models. The method used in this paper is by conducting a scoping review to answer the research objectives. Scoping review is a method for synthesizing and categorizing research results based on the literature review that has been carried out. Furthermore, the analysis used in this scoping review is thematic analysis. As a result, each authentic followership model has its own strengths and weaknesses. In addition, based on the perspective of the underlying theory, the three existing authentic followership models can be divided into two perspectives. The two perspectives are state and trait perspectives. This paper will also discuss the criticism of the state and trait perspectives. The practical implication of this paper is that there is a need to develop an authentic followership model based on the results of existing research.","PeriodicalId":264524,"journal":{"name":"Psychosophia: Journal of Psychology, Religion, and Humanity","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128740270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
