Still, both can show their existence in the 2020 regional election. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the Perindo Party and the Gelora Party use Twitter as a tool for the 2020 regional election political campaign. This research method uses NVIVO 12 plus analyzing data with chart analysis, cluster analysis, and word cloud analysis. The data source for this research came from the Twitter accounts of the Perindo Party and the Gelora Party. The reason for choosing the Twitter social media accounts of the Perindo Party and the Gelora Party is because these parties are new participants in Indonesian politics who can show their existence in political contestation. The findings show that Perindo and Gelora parties use Twitter social media optimally for political campaigns in the 2020 regional head elections. The political campaign narrative of the Perindo Party and the Gelora Party on Twitter is related to the names of parties and political party actors. The Perindo Party is dominant in political campaign content such as party activities, party ideas, relations with the public, the issue of COVID-19, and the Party's vision and mission. On the other hand, the Gelora Party excels in the content of its Party's slogan campaign. The intensity of the Gelora Party's political campaign on Twitter is higher than that of the Perindo Party in 2020.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121868980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research of the associative dimension of the concepts is implemented by applying the method of the free associative experiment aimed at revealing informants’ (English and Georgian speakers) associates-reactions to certain stimuli). The frequency ratios of reactions have been defined and the specifics of the core-periphery relationship has been identified in the associative fields. The analysis of the material of the free associative experiment revealed that the concepts of “family”, “freedom” and “life” perceived and interpreted by the respondents have been manifested in the cause-effect, temporal, and spatial relations. The comparison of the lexical-semantic and associative fields has been made. The mentioned entities have been constructed by applying the principle of significance. According to the mentioned principle, each element of the field has been included in the system due to its meaning and significance determined on the basis of the system as a whole.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122576471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Literature has provided convincing empirical evidence for the relationship between viewing sexualized media models and body surveillance, not only among women, but in the last decade even among men. The present study aims at extending previous research in the context of heterosexual relationships by 1) investigating the effect of media models also on surveillance of the partner’s body; 2) assessing whether body surveillance, surveillance of the partner’s body and surveillance from the partner may affect relationship satisfaction. Participants were 219 heterosexual romantic couples (mean age = 22.38 years old, SD = 3.71, age range = 18 41). Results showed that internalization of media standards affected body surveillance in both men and women, and for men only it was positively related to partner’s body surveillance and negatively to relationship satisfaction. For both genders partner’s body surveillance had a negative influence on relationship satisfaction, whereas for women only surveillance from the partner decreased relationship satisfaction. Implications will be discussed.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129466102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study also expresses the position of movie theaters and their revenues against television and internet broadcasts in the coming years. The availability of television and today's internet platforms significantly facilitates access to various movies or series for a large number of viewers. In this case, does it mean that the movie-watching habits of the audience have now largely shifted from public spaces to private spaces via the internet and will continue to do so in the long run? From this point of view, it presents that the restrictions imposed on public spaces due to such epidemics at a time when movie theaters in public spaces are clearly defeated by private spaces will rapidly reduce the interest in cinemas in the following years. Due to these restrictions, in addition to the economic difficulties to be experienced in the cinema as global decrease of 72% in movie audiences is mentioned in this period. It is clearly seen that it will continue to progress in the coming years due to such pandemics, which are expected to exist in our lives for a long time with its derivatives, by causing an inevitable change in the movie-watching habits of the audience, and it will progress at much lower levels at cinemas than it was before the pandemic.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"222 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131752062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researchers used both quantitative and qualitative approach to determine the compliance level of school paper advisers nationwide on the said law. It was revealed in this study that the law was partially complied. Specifically, in terms of funding the training of campus journalists and adviser; selection of advisers and members of the editorial staff; and allocating budget for the production, publication and circulation of the campus paper. This study concluded that the law is toothless to strictly implement its provisions, thus it needs to be reviewed.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131164608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has thus been the place of urban multilingual social inclusion and linguistic diversity. In this context, the paper aims at providing a theoretical and historical framework for language policy types that facilitated multilingualism in Osijek with reference to a particular German dialect of Osijek (Croatian: esekerski). The methodology applied in the paper is the primary sources analysis (applicable legislation, statistical demographic and historical data), interpretation of relevant LPP theories as well as a comparison regarding the language policy and languages spoken in the city of Osijek since the 19th century. In conclusion, the authors determine the role of language policy in maintaining the multilingual feature of the city of Osijek and give recommendations therefor.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115914258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It influences researchers’ career paths and determines the way that research is conducted and communicated. However, the term research culture remains ambiguous (Hill, 1999) and the tool to assess the research culture is very little and a resurgence is need in the field. The intent of the study is to comprehend the term research culture in the institutions in Kerala, India by developing a scale and validate it. Population of the study comprised of all the faculty members in the universities in Kerala. Sample was selected through multistage cluster sampling technique (Creswell, 2011). Out of the seventeen state universities five mainstream multidisciplinary universities were selected for the study. Four hundred faculty members were finally chosen as sample and the obscure and abstruse samples were avoided. Exploratory factor analysis is used to extract five factors which is quite evolved from the theoretical concepts (Clemena & Acosta, 2007) that intensify the research culture in the institutions. When interpreted, these factors align well with the theories that referred for the study. The results of the study indicated that the dimensions such as, Institutional Culture, Working Conditions, Research Infrastructure, Research Collaboration and Sharing, Institutional Research Policy and Agenda and Research Monitoring and Mentoring were perceived as relatively more influential for promotion of research culture and selected as the major factors for the preparation of the tool.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133797931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, I emphasize that one of Marx’s most significant innovations lies in the idea that a particular inner element in human beings is the most essential basis for what sets their action apart: the ability to change their living conditions and, in the process, consciously and deliberately alter their own nature, that is, realize their freedom. I believe that Marx's individualistic conception of needs is in line with the fact that from 1845 onward, he does not address the issue of happiness in the free society he anticipates. The radical source of misery is not a lack of satisfaction, but rather the inability, relevant to workers and capitalists alike, to fulfill \"free needs.\" These are not the same as free choices, but express the realization of unique elements of the individual that provide individual and human enjoyment and must not be confused with happiness. Marx's purpose is indeed to overcome misery, but in contrast to many commentators, I claim that this is done not for the sake of happiness, but rather for \"real individual activity,\" which points to the individuation of all senses and needs and also entails positive suffering involved in the free and open process of self-enrichment.","PeriodicalId":264216,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences","volume":"207 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116157629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
