The use of builds, that is, automated software delivery processes, is a good example. Its primary objective is the construction, packaging, testing, and delivery of system versions. The execution of tests in the context of software delivery automation materializes the existing controls in the execution of manual processes and can basically result in success or failure. The failure state occurs when one or many of the steps that make up the automated process do not obtain the expected result. The software industry invests a lot of time in investigating build failures, as they can fail for reasons not directly related to the tests performed. Such failures are called anomalies. This article presents a way to automatically identify anomalies using a natural computing algorithm inspired by artificial immune systems, called the Negative Selection Algorithm (ASN), in order to obtain the correct classification of failures in builds. A challenge is to explore the integration of new ICTs, such as smartphones and chatbots, to disseminate information within a regional museum. In this paper, we proposed the development of a chatbot to the Regional Museum of Sao Joao del-Rei to present his most outstanding artifact, a painting named Retrato de Menina. This paper presents the chatbot design in which was implemented on the IBM Watson platform. An evaluation with users was performed applying the Wizard of Oz method. The results of the evaluation evidenced that the proposed chatbot satisfies users, although it is necessary to improve the communication flow in order to guide users in the chatbot's interaction. Gutiérrez-Cáceres","doi":"10.1109/CLEI.2018.00069","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CLEI.2018.00069","url":null,"abstract":"In the alignment of biological sequences such as DNA, RNA and proteins, different algorithms are used, mainly the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST), which has two phases, a heuristic phase of seed indexing and another extension phase with a comparison of sequences using the Smith-Waterman (SW) algorithm, which allows the alignment of a short sequence \"query\" with a long reference sequence \"db\" in a very fast way in relation to other algorithms of alignment. This work proposes to use a two-dimensional matrix instead of a sparse matrix as a hash table for the storage of the seed index obtained, as well as the use of the GPU of our graphic card to optimize the planting, it reduces 11.24 % of the time of processing of seed indexing phase of the BLAST, presenting the use of GPU with CUDA a better performance in processing time than the sequential implementation and another multi CPUs using threads with OPENMP. Our algorithm has a complexity in time of O(1) to obtain the seeds identical to the pattern key. The performance is greater when the length of the hash key increases. For its evaluation tests we used a laptop core i7 of 16gb of RAM and a graphic card of 384 cores with C++ programming language and CUDA. This is an inter-institutional project that is developed jointly by the School of Computing of the National University of Costa Rica, the Costa Rican Institute on Drugs (ICD) and the Ministry of Public Education (MEP) of Costa Rica, which is oriented to prepare instructors in the area of robotics at the secondary education level, so that they can train their students in vulnerable regions of Costa Rica. In order to provide them with an option to occupy their free time in positive activities, and thus keep them out of reach the drugs. This training is given through workshops in which they are taught to create robot models using sensors, so they can program different tasks to solve challenges. To this end, organizations often employ well-tested, and documented processes also called ICT best practices. Due to its own nature and way of management, public institutions are examples of organizations that need specific studies to implement ICT best practices. The focus of this work is to investigate how ICT best practices are employed by the Brazilian Federal Higher Education Institutions (IFES). We use two regulations to perform such analysis: the IFES IT Director Plans (PDTI) documents and the IN04/2014 normative instruction of the Brazilian federal government that provide guidelines about how institutions should hire their ICT solutions. With information gathered from such documents, and also some related literature materials, was possible to determine an initial set of ICT best practices that could suit the needs of the IFES. This initial set was used to build a survey that was sent to all of the IFES.
