To solve this problem it is sought the help of computer technologies, which can promote facilities and speed up in decision making in face of market uncertainties. This paper aims to show the application of an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy system for the evaluation of competitiveness of production chains. To validate the method, is used as case of study the supply chain of broilers in Brazil. In Lara State, the malign tumors of the digest organs, including the colorectal area, represent the 4.13% of the registered death. The specialists ensure that early detection of this disease increases the probability of healing. This paper presents a collection of algorithms developed for the automatic analysis of endoscopic color images of tissues of the colon. The analysis begins with the preprocessing of the image, then segmentation and features extraction are applied and finally an artificial neural network is used for the classification. In the experiments an architecture of 60×6×1 resulted the most appropriate with accuracy of 97% and 72% in the training and test sets respectively. In particular, the School of Informatics has been exploring the opportunities to implement, through the use of a pedagogy oriented to problems and projects, a curricular integration between diverse areas of knowledge in the curriculum. From this perspective, an initial exploratory study was carried out, with the aim of integrating the areas of programming, databases and systems engineering. The findings show several limitations, such as mismatches between the course contents, lack of faculty commitment to collaborative work and student resistance. BPs modelled with BPMN are maintained and used by different workers within a company, thus the correctness of critical BPs should be validated and verified. In this work we present how Model Checking verification technique for software has been integrated within a Formal Compositional Verification Approach (FVCA) and Timed Automata (TA) to allow the automatic verification of critical BPs modelled with BPMN. The use of our FVCA support business analysts and designers in the formal specification of BP-task model with TA. The application of the FVCA is aimed at guaranteeing the correctness of the BP-task model with respect to initial properties specification derived from business rules.
