Additionally, labeling is heavily dependent on the experience and can be time-consuming. This problem is particularly prominent in the field of abnormality detection from medical images. To this end, we propose a novel end-to-end unsupervised method for detecting abnormalities using a flow model-based neural network. Specifically, This approach utilizes deep neural networks to obtain the features of normal images and model the distribution with the statistical method. It maps image features to tractable distributions and effectively integrates both local and global relationships to identify distinctive features. Comprehensive experiments on the MURA dataset demonstrate that our method outperforms recent methods by a considerable margin.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"48 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124973337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In view of the difficulty in simulating the sequentiality and uncertainty of medium and long-term output scenarios, this paper proposes a medium and long-term scenario generation method based on stacked autoencoder (SAE) and improved conditional generative adversarial networks(CWGAN_GP). Firstly, the ability of automatic feature extraction based on SAE to extract hidden features efficiently, which reduces dimensions for high dimensional series. Secondly, feature weighted K-means clustering method and CWGAN_GP are used to generate typical medium and long term scenarios. Finally, a case is used to verify the effectiveness and serviceability of the proposed method for the simulation that has medium and long-term scenarios with sequentiality and uncertainty.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130104215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the variety of shapes and sizes of rail surface defects, the existing methods based on a single-source data have low detection accuracy, high false alarm and high miss rate. In this paper, a fusion detection method is proposed based on one-dimensional (lD) vibration signals and two-dimensional (2D) images. Firstly, an Improved Sparse Auto Encoder (ISAE) is used to extract the features of vibration signals. Then Linear Discriminant Analysis-Support Vector Classifier (LDA-SVC) is utilized to diagnose rail surface defects by feature dimension reduction. At the same time, combined with YOLOv5, defects are located and detected based on 2D images. Finally, the results of the two models are fused at the decision-level. The experimental results show that the integration of multi-source information effectively improves the detection accuracy and provides maintenance guidance for the railway department.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129459306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although there are various license plate recognition algorithms used in commercial activities, most of them have several limitations, requiring high image pixel and low image skew. In this paper, we propose a new license plate recognition system in unconstrained environments, which incorporates plate super-resolution. We use a generative adversarial network for super-resolution(SR) of license plate image to solve the problem of low recognition accuracy due to low-resolution images. Then, the SR image will be input an elaborate designed plate recognition network. We use Chinese City Parking Dataset(CCPD) as the evaluation dataset, on which the experiments show that the proposed method performs better than current license plate recognition methods, especially on low- resolution plate images.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117013651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, TLR, K-means++ and the introduction of anticosine function improved oversampling (SMOTE) are used to process the fault data. Then, the Tent chaotic mapping, the new sailfish exploration mechanism and the elite inverse learning strategy of the optimal individual are used to improve the swordfish algorithm (SFO), and the superiority of the improved SFO(MSFO) algorithm is proved by comparing it with the original SFO, PSO, and GWO optimization tests. Then, an MSFO optimized SVM model is constructed. Finally, it was compared with PSO-SVM, GWO-SVM and SFO-SVM. It can be seen that when the balanced training set is used, the diagnostic accuracy of each model is improved by 6.48%, 5.56%, 5.56% and 8.34% compared with the original training set, respectively, which verifies the effectiveness of the data balancing method in this paper. In the case of the same balanced training set, the fault diagnosis rate of MSFO-SVM was the highest, indicating that MSFO-SVM had stronger fault identification ability.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121057638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the basis of this algorithm, in order to prevent the negative impact of inaccurate edge information on the reconstruction quality, a mixed multiple hypothesis prediction reconstruction algorithm based on resampling is proposed. By measuring the similarity between the resampling measured value and the original measured value, multiple initial reconstruction results are adaptively mixed to obtain the final reconstruction results. Experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively improve the reconstruction quality under low sampling rate.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117318286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, as the number of network layers deepens, CNNs are inappropriate to be deployed in the time-sensitive edge system. Most existing CNN accelerators require significant data movement and frequent off-chip memory (DRAM) access, which will decreases the inference speed and power efficiency. Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) is considered as a promising platforms for accelerating CNN s, due to its reconfigurable property. To address this issue, This paper designs an FPGA based CNN accelerator for edge computing, which can significantly reduce the dependence on logical resources and storage resources. An improved 4-bit PoT quantization (CPoT) was proposed to compress the model. Our design is assessed by deploying models on Intel Arria 10 GXl150 FPGA platform. As revealed from the experimental results, compared with other accelerator designs, our design can significantly reduce the utilization of Logic Elements (LE). The performance(throughput) of our accelerator achieves 8.92ms per image with a size of, 1.58 times faster than the GPU accelerator on an high-end NVIDIA GPU.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116024233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to alter the model's parameters, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) techniques are used to enhance the hidden layer and learning rate of the long-and-short-term memory neural network (LSTM). Afterward, apply the PSO-LSTM model to determine the rail's curvature. To make up the identifying process: Data processing, PSO algorithm optimization, and PSO-LSTM model prediction are the three steps. The PSO-LSTM[2]model is validated using data from train tracks, and it is contrasted with the Back Propagation(Bp)[3]and conventional LSTM[4]models. The outcomes demonstrate the superior accuracy and stability of the PSO-LSTM model.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116843483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) effects in the multicarrier network, our target is to maximize the sum data rate of D2D pairs subject to the constraints of the user power budget, power limitation on per-subcarrier, and the quality of service (QoS) requirement of each cellular user. To solve the non-convex JSAPA problem, we provide a polyblock algorithm by exploiting the hidden monotonic structure of objective functions and constraints to acquire the optimized result. Simulation results demonstrate our proposed scheme is better than the other methods.","PeriodicalId":263114,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Neural Networks, Information and Communication Engineering (NNICE)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116952477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
