The questionnaire forms were administered to a total of four hundred (400) respondents who were randomly selected among the ten (10) selected communities. The result of the study shows that community-based tourism potential are decaying in the local community due to ignorance of the local communities on tourism benefits and lack of involvement and participation in community-based tourism activities. However, new tourism potential /attractions were discovered during the inventory. We concluded that community-based tourism if well managed and restructured is a functional tool to driving sustainable tourism development. Therefore, it is recommended that the local communities should effectively participate and be involved in community-based related activities and they should be integrated in decision-making and management in the tourism industry to aid the sustainability of tourism development in the district.","PeriodicalId":259210,"journal":{"name":"Randwick International of Social Science Journal","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129949919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study focuses on the life of Pierre Savorgnan De Brazza, his story in particular, the one that links him with the peoples of the Congo. Pierre Savorgnan De Brazza is the first European to have arrived in the current Congolese Cuvette. It was after the Franceville stage in Gabon that De Brazza took the road to the Congo via the Plateaux which he now knows well to reach the Congo River. From this trip, the elders retain the revelation of the name of the Sovereign Teke, King Makoko whose treaty with De Brazza, later allowed the foundation of Brazzaville. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and a questionnaire was developed for the purpose of the study. The population consisted of all academics (826) at the universities of Hebron and Jerusalem, from which a random sample of 130 employees was taken. The results indicate that academics enjoy their vacations freely, that top administration delegates them some responsibilities, that university administration evaluates academics fairly and equally and assigns them work requirements and tasks that commensurate with their level of scientific expertise, and that academics receive promotions without delay. The administration takes into account the academics’ personal considerations when making career decisions and treats them with respect and dignity when decisions need to be made about their employment. Academics are satisfied with their jobs, and the work climate is appropriate at the universities. Universities provide health insurance for academics and their families, and academics’ loyalty to the university will never waver. Academics participate in departmental decision-making. However, the findings suggest that the role of academic oversight on academic performance at Palestinian universities be activated, including the positive monitoring role of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education. Monitoring includes positive oversight of performance and advancement of various university programs to ensure that they address the needs of the Palestinian society. The positive interventions of senior management in universities have a significant impact on motivating and guiding academics. Therefore, the researchers recommend activating and strengthening the positive management role of university administration while staying away from negative interventions. Such intervention would improve academics’ performance, encourage creativity and innovation and enhance knowledge of academics.","PeriodicalId":259210,"journal":{"name":"Randwick International of Social Science Journal","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128505325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The interest of several companies to develop the educational community through CSR activities is very important for the education community. Especially since the Law on PT. 40 of 2007, CSR is getting stronger. PTs that do business or manage natural resources in this area must be responsible for their social and environmental behavior (Article 74:1). Therefore, as part of efforts to achieve transparency and accountability of the government, it is necessary to find an appropriate mechanism to oblige the government to maintain fiscal balance. The results of the study indicate that efforts to create synergies between CSR and the education community are a strategic step for companies, whose benefits are directly felt by the communities in which they are founded.
