The results obtained in the short run shed light on the no relationship between public debt and economic growth. In the long run, there is a bi-directional Granger causality between public debt and the sustainability of economic growth. Moreover, the non-linearity between the variables of interest has been explored and the results show the presence of a threshold effect: beyond 48.03 percent of GDP, any increase in public debt by 1% should reduce economic growth by 0.28%. Thus, the study questions the relevance of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) criterion set at 70% of GDP.","PeriodicalId":257791,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 7","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129384298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Managerial ownership is one of the ways to realize the mixed ownership reform of state owned enterprises. Taking the mixed ownership reform of Chinese state-owned enterprises as the research object, this paper analyzes the impact of management ownership on the performance of mixed ownership enterprises. The conclusions are as follows: management ownership and corporate performance have a positive correlation in state-owned listed companies. The financial performance of the company increases with the proportion of management shareholding, ownership concentration and equity balance. There is a significant negative correlation between the proportion of independent directors and the rate of return on net assets, which shows that the independent directors of state-owned enterprises in China have not played their due role in the governance of state-owned enterprises.","PeriodicalId":257791,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 7","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121698369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method can be used to support the designer for reducing the environmental impact of the product throughout its life cycle and as a supporting tool for designers to invent novel, useful, and environmentally friendly products, our approach is to develop this method by linking concepts from marketing and environments to show the competitive advantage of creating a high level of customer satisfaction by adopting the requirements of the eco-efficiency and green design. For that I will begin with a brief discussion for the eco-efficiency and green design then identify the requirements of the eco-efficiency and green design and lastly propose Kano model to measure customer satisfaction for the eco-efficiency and green design. Kano’s model of customer satisfaction, a methodology is introduced which determines which influence the components of products and services have on customer satisfaction. And also demonstrate how the results of a customer survey can be interpreted and how conclusions can be drawn and used to demonstrate customer satisfaction for eco-efficiency and green design. As we see the result of the study shows that the eco-efficiency and green design for the goods and services have a competitive advantage.","PeriodicalId":257791,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 7","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129090014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the Malaysian government has adopted the Economic Transformation Program (ETP) in order to ensure the country's long-term and sustainable economic growth. It is well acknowledged that a variety of factors influence the attainment of long-term and sustainable economic growth. Internal and external supply chain management (SCM) components make up these aspects. Many studies have been undertaken to assess the effects of external SCM components on long-term and sustainable economic growth efficiency and performance. However, only a few studies have looked into the effects of internal SCM components on a country's long-term and sustainable economic growth. As a result, this article offers the outcomes of a study done to identify the elements that influence internal SCM performance in terms of long-term competitiveness and economic growth. The views of 192 electrical and electronics (E& E) manufacturers on the importance of internal SCM variables in achieving long-term and sustainable economic growth were gathered through interviews. The study focuses solely on the manufacturer's point of view and their perspectives, rather than the entire supply chain's channel participants. The findings reveal how internal SCM variables were integrated in the Malaysian E&E industry, as well as how it may be enhanced in order to achieve long-term competitiveness. This research contributes to the understanding of internal SCM integration and its impact on long-term competitiveness.","PeriodicalId":257791,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 7","volume":"124 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132949268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the researchers were inspired to conduct research into the loan options available to consumers. The objectives of this research are; to examine the relationship and impact of macroeconomic drivers or variables on household debt in Malaysia and to determine which factor is the most important. The research used annual secondary data from 1984 to 2018 from reputable sources such as Databank, Knoema, Bloomberg and Bank Negara Malaysia. Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Unemployment Rate (UN-EM) and Inflation Rate (INF) were the three macroeconomic factors used. The relationship between macroeconomic factors and household debt is investigated using descriptive analysis, Augmented Dickey Fully (ADF) and Philips-Perron (PP) Unit Root Tests, Normality Test and Regression Analysis. All the three variables, namely GDP, UN-EM and INF, have positive relationships with household debt according to the multiple regression model test results. The UN-EM was the most prominent and followed by the GDP. According to the findings, the rise of these independent variables influences the rise in household debt. Only the GDP and UN-EM are proven to be important factors, whereas INF is determined to be inconsequential. The findings of this study confirmed that households use debt as a substitute for income to fund increased consumption due to rising living costs. The data suggests that the debt level is enormous and that the country is experiencing real difficulties. As a suggestion, the future researcher should experiment with other data structures, conduct additional research and include new macroeconomic variables.","PeriodicalId":257791,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 7","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116033447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
