The aim of our effort is to design and write the first implementation of a test program that could provide the first answer to these needs. For benchmarking Network Interconnect Devices we could use the recommendation of the 2544 (IP version independent) and the 5180 (IPv6 related) RFCs. But these do not cover the benchmarking of IPv6 translation technologies. There is an IETF draft which covers this topic, the “Benchmarking Methodology for IPv6 Transition Technologies”. This draft covers the transition technologies which contain the translation too. We will use this draft as bases of our design.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"387 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129160272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new computationally fast vision algorithm is developed to extract the object's pose at a high rate from the captured scenes. Moreover, we present a method to deal with range dependent noise characteristics of the stereo vision to fulfill requirements for mobile manipulation tasks. As shown, a smoothed, high-bandwidth feedback is obtained by using robust real-time estimation, where special care is taken to accommodate the aforementioned nonlinearities of the stereo vision. This way, the manipulator is capable of positioning itself in the close vicinity of an object by navigation of its nonholonomic mobile base. Importantly, we achieve nearly the same accuracy in mobile robot positioning compared to standard marker-based techniques at distances greater than those typically considered suitable for position-based, high-bandwidth motion control within the robotics community.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128855726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the perspective of broadband power line communication possibilities in the smart grid concept, there is a need to know for high-frequency characteristics of busbars. This paper investigates the influences of line length and branch numbers on the channel transfer functions between transmitter and receiver units on such systems with the assumption that this network has N-branch structure. Additionally, channel capacities for different network topologies are calculated to give an inside for communication system designers. The observations presented in this study show that the attenuation and the notch depth in the transfer function are strongly related with varying network topologies especially with branch numbers due to increasing multipath effect. It is believed that this study will contribute to the power line communication research area with an aspect of characterizing busbar distribution systems as a transmission line along with the cables.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"176 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116396634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By generating a forest of decision trees according to some of previous block's pixels, which are also needed for current block's label decision, we can reduce trees' depth and number of pixels to check. Experimental results show that our method is faster than the most recent labeling algorithms with image datasets which have various size and pixel density.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115531565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is the main cause of death. The three dimensional segmentation of MRA images is helpful for the detection of the CVA in early stage. Due to the low contrast of thin vessels, loud noise and the complex structure of vessels, it is difficult to extract vessels from MRA images precisely. In this paper, we present a new method of segmentation. The proposed algorithm contains two major steps: Firstly, the Contrast Limited Adaptative Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) method is applied to enhance the image. Then, the vesselness filter is used to extract the blood vessels. Our method was tested and evaluated on 3D MRA database. It demonstrates the ability to extract the most of the vascular structures successfully. The accuracy of the proposed method reaches more than 95% which was higher than the recent methods.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114463531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such a scenario suffers from a high computational complexity because of the transmit precoding that is used to eliminate the inter-user interference. The paper proposes a reduced complexity precoding method applicable at the base station (BS) side of a downlink multiuser scenario. The reduction in complexity is achieved by reducing the number of low-level operations involved in the QR decomposition without any effect on the overall system performance. The method is shown to be compatible with two of the most widespread implementations of the QR decomposition: Givens rotations and Householder reflections. The proposed algorithm is evaluated in terms of required number of multiply-and-accumulate (MAC) operations and compared with its unmodified version, showing a net decrease of computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115825418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This negative influence on the data rate is due to noise being generated by the lamps. Differential Mode measurements were done with two PLC modems communicating and then introducing LED lamps that add noise to the channel. Drops in data throughput rates were measured and compared to a clean (no noise) channel. A significant decrease (up to 50%) in throughput was observed which can have important implications for applications of PLC in the presence of LED Tubes.","PeriodicalId":256818,"journal":{"name":"2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126713788","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It consists of cascaded instrumentation amplifier (CIA), dual-notch low-pass filter (DNLPF), and programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The proposed CIA is voltage amplifier based on gyrator realized by two digitally programmable operational transconductance amplifiers (DPOTAs). It achieves 31dB gain besides providing high-pass feature. To minimize the effect of powerline interference, DNLPF is designed. Furthermore, it has low-pass feature to attenuate unwanted noise signal, and this offers compactness in term of chip area. PGA fortifies processed EEG signal with more gain. Its structure is built from master/slave paths to achieve high linearity. PSpice simulation results are carried out using 0.25-μm CMOS process and operating under ±0.8V. Simulation results for EEG system achieve controllable gain (61dB–84dB), input referred noise of 4μV/√Hz, and power dissipation of 32μW.
