During the writing process, I researched the academic articles and books related to the gig economy and exploitation, enabling myself to form a solid foundation from which to conduct further research. In addition, work was conducted to synthesize the journal articles, online resources and books. The scope of this report examines the corpus of the text relating to the gig economy and exploitation and I emphasize some of the ways the writers manage to display the exploitation and the unjustness in the gig economy.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130932688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results show that 1) experiences are involved in obtaining, consuming, and disposing of products, 2) experiences occur in situations consumers face, and 3) experiences are behaviors and physiological/psychological effects. This understanding of experiences helps us effectively use experience as a differentiation strategy. This study proposes a novel definition and provides methodologies for customer experience and strategies. Further exploration of successful products or service examples should be addressed in the future.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133365676","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is particularly true in relation to the justice system. An efficient judicial system is important to ensure the execution of contracts and the protection of property rights [1]. Italy seems to be characterized by the congestion of the judicial system and by a considerable slowness [2]. The high level of Italian litigiousness could derive from a disproportionate dimension and lack of transparency in the regulatory framework, the mutability of legal parameters, and the large number of lawyers, all of which submerge the courts. There are five actors who are interested in the duration of litigation, i.e. the two parties, their lawyers and the judge. Three of them have an interest in prolonging the process, one (the judge) is a neutral spectator, and the plaintiff is the only one who would gain from concluding the process in as short a time as possible. The quality of this service, which elsewhere is marked by the rapidity of court - cases and procedures, is connected with the level of public resources necessary for managing this public service and the results obtained. In Italy the number of judges paid from public expenditure is in line with European levels. However, when compared to European systems, Italian justice is slower and less efficient. The aim of this work is to provide a picture of judicial efficiency in Italy, through the identification of some variables that affect the length of civil proceedings, particularly with regard to the role of lawyers. The analysis confirms a positive correlation between the number of lawyers and of civil procedures, showing a lawyers’ opportunistic behavior.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117346681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The only reliable source for Muslims is the al-Quran and the Sunnah which are guidelines for life. Consumer Behaviour is principles outlined in Islam as a guide to act in ways that are not consistent with specified sharia. Behaviour in Islam does not only focus on human relations. The Buy Muslim First (BMF) campaign is encourages Muslim buyers to prioritize the purchase of Muslim products, where Muslim traders will issue zakat and thereby develop the social economy of Muslims. This research is a quantitative study using descriptive and inferential approaches. The main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of BMF campaign on the purchasing behavior of young Muslims behaviors. Using the Muslim consumer behavior model Based on 100 respondents representing the young group was selected to answer the questionnaire using the Likert scale method. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS Multiple Regression tests, the result of F test is 6.595> value F. then the main findings of this study explain that there is the influence of BMF campaign on young Muslim users is 21.7% (based on R Square value). Four main aspects influence the behavior of young buyers are Intention, Expenses, Religious Brotherhood and power in purchasing. All these aspects will have a direct impact on Muslim traders, it is hoped that there will be a continuation study to study these four aspects that have a significant impact on the behavior of Muslim consumers.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116338224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research adopted a mixed-method research design where qualitative and quantitative data were gathered using questionnaires, interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The study used multistage sampling to pick the respondents for the questionnaires, key interview informants, and the participants in the focus group discussions. Thirty four out of 170 district assemblies that existed by 2008 were sampled. Participants in the study included 612 District Assembly (DA) officials, 1020 citizens, 28 national/regional officials, and 20 participants in focus group discussions. Quantitative data, measured using Likert scale questionnaire items, were analysed using descriptive statistics and regression, while qualitative data were examined thematically. The findings showed that citizens rated service delivery poorly, while district assembly officials rated service delivery as satisfactory. The study established that budgeting practices had a positive and significant influence on service delivery. The study findings have significant implications on the public administrators, citizens and scholars as it established the importance of proper budgeting practices if the public sector decentralised governments and agencies will be able to deliver satisfactory services to the public, especially in the African context.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114459360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study took place in the Nangong we and Kafue Mission Health Centre catchment regions in Kafue district. From a total of 300 households (HHs) with ITNs, 30 were randomly selected using a simple random sample technique. One HH was not reached due to heavy rains, reducing the sample size to 29 HHs. Quantitative data was collected through questionnaires, while qualitative data was gathered through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Multiple linear regression in excel was used to test the hypothesis that ITN attributes do not influence ITN usage. \u0000Findings: In this study, it was observed that majority of households owned between five to six ITNs. Most of the households reported that they have been using ITNs for over ten years. A further inquiry on the most preferred ITNs revealed that 100% of households liked nets that fit on a double bed followed by 86.2% which liked rectangular nets and the last category of 52% that favored white nets. The study hypothesized that colour, shape and size of ITNs do not influence usage. This hypothesis was tested using a multiple linear regression performed using Excel. The analysis of the test results showed that only 3.3% of the preference for ITN usage is explained by colour, shape and size with a P-value of 0.85. Since this statistic is greater than alpha 0.05 at 95% confidence level there is strong evidence not to reject the null hypothesis and conclude that ITN attributes are not major factors that limit usage of ITNs. \u0000Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: This study demonstrated that systemic thinking using the limits to growth system theory can be used to explain weaknesses of linear thinking that has been used over the years by the Ministry of Health and other health communicators in developing health promotion strategies for prevention of malaria using ITNs. Over the years one key major message has been at the core of ITN promotion, “sleep under an ITN all year round to prevent mosquitoes that cause malaria”. Despite emphasis on this message, ITN use has been below 50% since 2006 while the corresponding knowledge on ITN use has been increasing to above 60%. Using the limits to growth theory demonstrated that there could be other factors than knowledge gaps that are responsible for low utilization of ITNs.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"4 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130899068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reason for targeting two economies is that the differences in their economic performances could shed light on what kinds of mechanisms make the received remittances lead to or not to the Dutch Disease. The study identified the existence of the Dutch Disease in Nepal, but not in Bangladesh, judging from the causalities and dynamic responses from remittances to manufacturing-services ratio. We speculate that the contrast in the Dutch Disease effects might come from the differences in the demand structure and policy efforts for manufacturing development between both economies. The strategic implication of the empirical outcomes is the significance in enhancing the institutional quality to promote appropriate industrial policies to avoid the Dutch Disease under remittance-dependent economies.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122324460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because the three poles are always negotiating, each of them should win out over the other two, resulting in the bargaining dilemma being introduced. As a result, it's necessary to define bargaining conduct. The proposed “win-win-win papakonstantinidis model” (derived from Nash win-win extended approach) aims to find ways for the three-pole bargaining conceptual equilibrium, under conditions,thus maximizing expected utilities for all the involved parts in local decision-making by the use of a combination of Descriptive Behavior (DB), Rational Choice, Instrumental Rationality, and the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) methodologies, then an updating community’s behavioral state is expected, thus transforming the technical territory-community perception to a behavioral community perception, by sensitizing its population, towards the “guanxi relations” paradigm. Sensitization process should be concerned as a continuous process toward the limit of the absolute cooperation between local people in the community. On that case, the limit of the sensitization process coincides with the limit of the local development process and the limit of bargaining power pole convergence.","PeriodicalId":256488,"journal":{"name":"Modern Perspectives in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 4","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115564233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
