Need of fuel also increasing day by day. Our project solar powered E- cycle that provides the alternative by harnessing solar energy to charge the battery and thus provide the required voltage to run the motor. The solar panels are mounted on the bicycle. The battery is coupled to a solar charge controller, which converts solar energy into electrical energy. The electrical power is stored in a battery, which is then supplied to a DC gear motor, which drives the motor. The bicycle has been changed from being an old-fashioned product to a less polluting means of transport and a compact mobility tool. In future, everyone will prefer electric vehicle than fuelled vehicles. Solar energy is one of the important sources of renewable energy which can be a best alternative to fossil fuels. However, most of the e-cycles are expensive. A power theft detection and protection system based on NodeMcu is designed in this study. The administration of the electric power distribution system has become more sophisticated as the demand of electric power for domestic, commercial, and industrial loads has increased. A relay is used as switching gear to isolate a power line from power theft. All device operations are controlled by NodeMcu. This system would offer a simple approach to identify and prevent electrical power theft without the need for human intervention, increase the profit margin of the power utility business and prevent overload faults. Electricity theft detection has also become possible to this system, which sends a message to a server every time a person passes by the meter. Additionally, the status of the thread involved in the power loom operation is continually monitored with the help of proximity sensors. Power electronics have major and essential role in the transmission, distribution and utilization of electricity and have the ability to process electricity potentially and economically. Although, the nonlinear operation of electrical devices introduces two important factors to the power system. They produce harmonics and affect the power factor of the system. Due to the uneven load, the system faces insufficient power consumption and affects the power quality. This requires system enhancements and is achieved by providing the adequate power transfer and power compensation to improve system performance. All of this can be done with FACTS devices. Some of the more advanced systems in this family are UPQC and DPFC.
