In this experiment, by using the method of artificial neural network and MATLAB DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM combined with the meteorological data of air temperature, relative air humidity, solar radiation, wind speed, soil water content and dew point temperature as the input variable, the author established the artificial neural network system to forecast the seedling water consumption of P.×euramericana cv.“74/76”, and through the experiments it has been examined that two neural network system models can be applied in forecasting water consumption of seedlings, and the average relative error of Back Propagation (BP) neural network prediction model was 0.07, the General Regression Neural Network (GRNN) prediction model was 0.05, moreover, the latter had good stability, while that of the former was poor. Therefore, we propose that GRNN model can be used in prediction of seedling water consumption. Furthermore, the maximum relative error of GRNN predication model was 0.106, the minimum relative error was 0.015. The GRNN model is superior to the BP neural network model that the former performs a higher forecasting accuracy with relatively shorter time consumption and faster speed in training.","PeriodicalId":255806,"journal":{"name":"2010 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering(ICACTE)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115934947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present a novel technique which can deal with the problem of error concealment for whole frame losses. The proposed technique exploits objects motion information from video by combining gray and color optical flow methods to reconstruct lost images. After recovering main body of the lost frame, the MRF model is applied to deal with the overlap and occlusion caused by objects movements. Results show that the proposed technique provides good subject and object image quality and has a low complexity which make it can be used on real time operation.","PeriodicalId":255806,"journal":{"name":"2010 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering(ICACTE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132332756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To optimize the performance of a satellite communications system, the directions of maximum gain of a satellite ground control station antenna (referred to as boresight) must be pointed directly at the satellite. To ensure that the earth station antenna is aligned, two angles must be determined: the azimuth and the elevation angle. Azimuth angle and elevation angle are jointly referred to as the antenna look angles. This paper describes in detail, the mathematical modelling of antenna look angles of two models of satellite ground control station. The mathematical models developed are abstract models that use mathematical equations to describe the antenna look angles. The mathematical representations presented takes into consideration the redundancy of the control stations. Two models are used in order to pave way for redundancy so that if one fails the other takes over. Mathematical model of antenna look angles is a mathematical representations of the equations governing them.","PeriodicalId":255806,"journal":{"name":"2010 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering(ICACTE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132493393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Least square method is frequently one of fitting polynomial algorithms. Fitting polynomial equation based on least square method has some errors because computer-finite-word-length has some tiny fluctuations to original data or calculation storage and produces some influence. Aimed at the errors, the least square method is improved, and the improved method is applied in ship performance analysis. The fitting curves, obtained respectively by means of the original method and the improved least square method, are analyzed. The research result indicates that fitting-polynomial equation precision by use of the improved least square method is higher than the original method, and the improved method has more reliability and practicability.","PeriodicalId":255806,"journal":{"name":"2010 3rd International Conference on Advanced Computer Theory and Engineering(ICACTE)","volume":"280 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129980396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
