This study attempts to provide a sociological analysis of cultural components, in particular the content of the proverbs included in Dehkhoda’s Amsal va Hekam (Proverbs and Parables) and their role in Iran’s underdevelopment. This book was chosen because it is by far the most comprehensive book in this regard with more than 50,000 proverbs. Through a content analysis of all these proverbs using the qualitative content analysis approach, the researcher concluded that 2510 proverbs were related to development, of which 894 proverbs (35%) conveyed development-consistent concepts and 1616 others (65%) conveyed anti-development concepts. In addition, using the field study method and interviews with 40 people with relatively good knowledge of proverbs, it was shown that 276 proverbs contained development-related concepts, of which 64 proverbs (23%) conveyed development-consistent and 212 others (77%) conveyed anti-development concepts. It was concluded that a considerable number of the proverbs conveyed concepts such as fatalism, a lack of innovativeness, death, misogyny, contentment, and so on. Obviously, such a culture in the community leads to passivity of its members. Given the unquestionable role of cultural factors in human activities and that of cultural components such as proverbs in Iran’s underdevelopment process, cultural planners need to pay more attention to these factors and provide appropriate solutions to reduce the negative effects of the development-impeding proverbs as well as other similar cultural components in society.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134072760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is in the light of this, that this study investigated the nature and processes of organizational change, with a view to clarifying the links between organizational change and performance of employees in the seventeen sampled banks in Akure, Ondo State. Akure town in Ondo State was purposively selected for this study because the town houses the State head offices of all the banks operating in Ondo State. In other to have a representation of each unit in the banks covered in this study, purposive sampling technique was used in selecting respondents in four units/departments namely business development, operations, compliance/audit and security. Questionnaire was administered to elicit information from the selected respondents for this study. Out of the 17 banks selected in Akure, 254 employees were randomly selected as respondents for this study. Secondary data were sourced from banks, journals, internet resources and government documents. Data collected were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The results established that the major organizational changes that were witnessed in the selected banks include structural change (78.08%); functional change (79.16%); technological change (85%); and behavioral change (82.6%). The results revealed that lack of a company-wide definition of change (54.4%); lack of a strategic plan for change (72%); view of quality as a quick fix (71.2%); were key major factors that ignited organizational change in the selected banks in the study area. In addition, the study discovered evidence of significant positive relationship between employees’ performance and structural change (r=1,017; ρ=˃0.05), behavioral change (r=10.026; p˂0.05), functional change (r=3.395; p˂0.05), while technical change (r=–5.342; p˂0.05) had negative relationship with innovative performance of employees in the selected banks in Akure, Ondo State. The study concludes that it is important for banks in developing countries particularly Nigeria, to formulate effective organizational change strategies and create more awareness among employees about organizational change to allay the fear of the aftermath effects as these will enhance the outputs of their workforce. The study recommended that the Nigerian banking structure and procedures should be improved upon and made to pay attention to risks and continuously scan the environment in order to consolidate the benefit of change.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134020345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While several teaching units have now begun mixed learning, many of them are still struggling with old practices. The unexpected breakoutof COVID-19, a serious infection transmitted by the Coronavirus, shocked the whole world. The education system around the globe was threatened bythis situation and compelled teachers to move to an online teaching mode at once. Accordingly, numerous initiatives have been implemented by theDepartment of School Education to introduce policies of social exclusion, and online instruction is accompanied by rapid curriculum transformationin the context of the Tele School Program (PTV) etc. Digital content is more comfortable, since it will offer a diverse and lively atmosphere for teachingand learning. However, the curriculum development is required to occur immediately without adequate planning due to lack of time. The informationgathered was analyzed and recommendations were forwarded on the basis of the study findings to serve as an input for forthcoming plans and policiesand to enhance the efficiency of teaching learning practices in similar circumstances. Hence, it is recommended that government should provide allfacilities regarding virtual learning for the future and also training by conducting workshops and seminars on modern lines to make them able toutilize modern techniques.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127279190","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, it is debatable whether a definition is always valid for every society, for every person. Human behavior cannot be clearly separated into normal and abnormal. The duration and severity of these concepts also need to be clarified. A behavior can be considered abnormal to the extent that it deviates from the mean, lasts for a long time, and is severe. However, it is difficult to distinguish between normal and abnormal. Since no clear boundary can be drawn between them, it is not easy to answer the questions where normality begins and ends and where abnormality begins.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134164503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It later spread to other countries in the world. In early April, the school in 194 countries, from pre-school to higher education, is closed. Approximately 1.5 billion students are affected by this situation, and therefore their status as full-time students have ceased. All countries with the COVID-19 pandemic aimed to provide continuing education without break. Traditional educational techniques are significantly disrupted by social alienation and restriction policies. Many scientists have shared their work on teaching and learning in different ways after the outbreak of COVID-19. There is face-to-face teaching abolished in many schools, colleges, and universities. Our state of Montenegro, following the example other countries in the world, introduced distance learning. The purpose of this research is to: (1) Application of learning and teaching activities with the help of communication technologies in mathematics teaching. (2) Determine the efficiency of distance learning mathematics. (3) Students’ reaction and observation before and after the application of distance learning. (4) Support and implementation of recommendations by the Ministry of Education.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131325795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study was to assess reconstruction policies of building technical and managerial capacity, achieving rapid physical reconstruction, restoring service delivery, establishing sustainable policies and institutions and sector-wide planning on basic education infrastructure in post Boko Haram insurgency in North East, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose, five research questions and hypotheses were raised. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised four hundred basic education sector staff and stakeholders from Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states. Data were collected using researcher instrument tagged “Reconstruction Policies on Basic Education Infrastructure Assessment Questionnaire” (RPBEIAQ). The instrument was validated and reliability was determined using Cronbach Alpha. The reliability coefficient was 0.78. The data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions and z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The findings show that building technical and managerial capacity, rapid physical reconstruction, restoring service delivery, establishing sustainable policies, and institutions and education sector-wide planning were not achieved on basic education infrastructure in North East, Nigeria. The study concluded that key players and actors such as federal ministry of education, state ministries of education, local government education authorities, NGOs, civil societies, donor, and international aid agencies did not achieve reconstruction policies on basic education infrastructure. The study also recommended among others that sound technical and managerial capacity reconstruction policies should be built on basic education infrastructure in terms of recruitment and training of teachers and administrators to proper utilization.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127802987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rights in Islam are all provided by Allah, the lawgiver, that is to say, a divine revelation (Qur’an) regulates and specifies the human rights and the explanation of His prophet (SAW), otherwise called Sunnah. Therefore, Qur’an and Sunnah are vital sources of information on human rights in Islam. Similarly, the paper investigates the theoretical concepts, the origin of the human species; it also considers the difference between human beings and other creatures. Before Islam, the period was also cognizance of how human beings’ rights were respected in our contemporary era. Therefore, the relevance of rights from an Islamic point of view and western understanding is known as (Man-made Law), which only considers the rights of individuals and means the struggle. Therefore, the Islamic religion aims to have a peaceful society that provides these rights classes to people, thereby granting them religious, social, and moral satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":254239,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Social Sciences","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114965647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
