This paper proposes an event-driven modularized simulation model for a shared electric vehicle system (SEVS). The model consists of vehicle, station, link, and route modules. To add real-world aspects, several detailed factors are jointly considered in this study: (1) the range anxiety of customers; (2) a nonlinear charging process; (3) the interactions between road congestion and the travel velocity of shared vehicles; (4) restrictions on station capacity; (5) the limitations of battery capacity and charging speed on vehicle operations; and (6) the stimulative effect of pricing on travel demands. Finally, several controlled variable experiments, focusing on charging speed, range anxiety, and trip price, for the case of the EVCard operation in Chengdu, are deployed to illustrate the abilities of the proposed tool.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129321007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

External costs are estimated using the latest European Union handbook for external cost evaluation, combined with an assessment of emissions using a bottom-up approach. A numerical tool implementing this methodology is applied in a case study dedicated to studying alternative intermodal transport chains for cargos originating in the Far-East and bound for land-locked regions of Central Europe. Transport chains using gateway seaports in the Mediterranean Sea and North Sea (Piraeus and Rotterdam), coupled to European Union rail freight corridors, are used to reach final destinations. The conclusion is that although Piraeus is preferable from the point of view of emissions, the utilization of Rotterdam leads to lower external costs.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128635029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the simulation experiment under the conditions, the influence of the charging flow rate on the main hydrogen storage performance during the hydrogen filling process of the ship hydrogen storage tank was studied, and the influence of the charging flow rate on the main performance of the hydrogen storage tank was obtained. The simulation results show that the change of the mass flow rate at the hydrogen injection port will cause significant changes in the temperature, SOC, and pressure in the hydrogen storage tank. When the mass flow rate increases, the two-dimensional average temperature in the hydrogen storage tank and the temperature of each detection point show an upward trend, and when the same filling quality is met, the variable inlet mass flow rate used in this experiment is Compared with the constant mass flow at the inlet, the range of temperature rise is smaller. During the filling process, the mass flow curve has a large value in the earl and mid-term, and gradually decreases in the middle and late periods to obtain better hydrogen storage performance. Within the safety standard range of the ship's hydrogen charging temperature of 358K, the average mass flow can be maximized during the hydrogen charging process to obtain a higher SOC value.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130917964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accurately predicting the SOH of the lithium-ion battery is of great significance for evaluating the health of the new energy vehicle power system and the remaining service life. The existing models for estimating the SOH of lithium-ion batteries have much room for improvement in terms of prediction accuracy and applicability. This article addresses the general accuracy and generalization problems of the existing lithium battery SOH prediction models. This paper proposes a lithium battery SOH prediction model based on the Temporal Convolutional Network, and uses particle swarm algorithm to optimize the model's hyper parameters. The model has high prediction accuracy on a variety of battery datasets. Subsequently, the transfer learning method is used to transfer the Temporal Convolutional Network model to the actual working condition data set, and the training set size is effectively reduced under the condition that the model prediction accuracy remains unchanged. Combined with the wavelet decomposition method, the Temporal Convolutional Network model is improved to achieve a fast and accurate estimation of the SOH of lithium batteries with fewer cycles.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130091684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At this time, the grid connection of photovoltaic power supply based on Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) control technology will lead to poor phase-locking performance and impulse current. However, due to the existence of phase-locked loop (PLL), the speed and accuracy of pre-synchronization of traditional VSG pre-synchronization con-trol strategy are easy to be disturbed when there are a large number of harmonics in ship power grid. In order to solve this problem, an improved pre-synchronization control strategy of marine VSG is proposed in this paper. Two PI regulators are used to replace PLL to reduce control parameters and effectively improve the speed of VSG pre-synchronization. Finally, the effect of this method on improving the grid-connected pow-er quality of marine distributed photovoltaic inverter is verified by simulation and experiment.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"462 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122496691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study proposes an asynchronous cooperative signal control framework for urban road network to enhance the stability of control in practice. The signal timing plans can be optimized in a parallel fashion in the framework. Signal controllers are able to respond and adapt to the environment change timely through queue prediction based on the asynchronous information from neighbor intersections. Additionally, the rolling-horizon strategy is introduced in the framework to improve the robustness of signal control. Simulation experiments are conducted and the results show the asynchronous framework overperforms the fixed timing plan optimized by Synchro in terms of both stability and motility. The asynchronous cooperative control framework holds huge potential in the real world.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126865071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the subway passenger flow data in Chicago, this article analyzes the impact of COVID-19 on rail transit passenger flow. ArcGIS is used to visualize the spatial-temporal distribution of the passenger flow of different stations during different time periods. Based on the fluctuation characteristics of passenger flow before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, one of the deep learning methods, the LSTM (Long-Short Term Memory) neural network model, is constructed to predict the passenger flow of each station in the scenario of no virus. The decline of passenger flow is calculated for each station. Stepwise regression model is constructed to determine factors that explain the decline in passenger flow, and significant factors are obtained: the original passenger flow, number of houses and jobs within 800m buffer zone, number of bus stops within 800m buffer zone, whether the station is a transfer station, distance from the station to the city center, and the number of low-income people. The results of the study show that after the outbreak of COVID-19, the passenger flow of the subway in Chicago experience a “cliff-like” decline in the short term. The passenger flow in most areas dropped by more than 80%, and the passenger flow of some severely impacted stations dropped by more than 90%. Characteristics of the station and built environment factors of different stations influence the decline of passenger flow.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"164 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127389697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lithium-ion batteries are the core components of electric vehicles. Effective health assessment and life prediction are the key to ensuring the endurance and safe and reliable operation of electric vehicles. Unlike most previous studies, this paper provides a remaining life prediction method of lithium-ion battery based on the operating data of electric vehicles under actual operating conditions by combining amper-hour integral method and machine learning algorithms. The data-driven method performs well in both health status estimation and remaining life prediction, thus can provide articulate monitoring of the safety and reliability of the lithium-ion battery system in its whole life cycle and relieve range anxiety.","PeriodicalId":253824,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132350553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
