It combines the adaptive minimum mean square error multiuser detection scheme with prior information of the channel and interference cancelation in the spatial domain. Simulation results show that joint channel parameters estimation has good performance compared to individual parameter estimation. The developed algorithm sum rate capacity is close to MIMO theoretical upper bound (21.5 bits/s/Hz at an SNR of 20dB) which indicates its applicability to the uplink channel, where power transmission at the mobile station is a constraint. The BER performance shows that an 8 x 8 AMUD MIMO OFDM provides a 2dB SNR gain as compared to non adaptive MIMO OFDM.","PeriodicalId":253478,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE 12th International Conference on Communication Technology","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133630963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To address this issue, a universal and extensible simulation platform for WLAN security protocols is proposed. First, the architecture of the platform is presented, which provides a unified interface to extend various security protocols. Second, a general method to standardize the extension process is demonstrated. Finally, according to the proposed architecture and method, the simulation platform based on OPNET is implemented, and its feasibility, correctness and universality are validated through extending and simulating a concrete protocol. In this paper, an effective preprocessing scheme is proposed to improve selection methods of reference point (RP) and access point (AP). The spatial filter is used to select RPs, and APs are decided in the principle of minimal redundancy. The experiment is carried out on campus, whose results show that the proposed scheme could improve the accuracy of both the Kernel-based and KNN matching algorithm, especially the former, by about 25%. Moreover, the denser is the AP distribution, the better the proposed scheme performs.","PeriodicalId":253478,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE 12th International Conference on Communication Technology","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114358605","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper introduces the development of IOT, and focuses on carriers that play leader role in IOT industry chain. The importance of building BOSP for carriers is pointed out after analyzing their demands on operating IOT services. The proposed BOSP is formed by access layer, devices management layer, and ability formation layer. Access layer provides multi-networking capability over ubiquitous networks. Devices management layer offers convenient measures to monitor and control massive devices. Ability formation layer creates capabilities to quickly build networks and fulfill applications.","PeriodicalId":253478,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE 12th International Conference on Communication Technology","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114503132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the real-time requirement, live streaming systems have to adopt an appropriate neighbor selection mechanism to realize effective content distribution. This paper takes PPLive which is a classic P2P IPTV system as the object to measure and analysis. We pay our attention to the quantitative variety, the ISP and autonomous system locality characteristic and the response time distribution of the neighbors. According to the research result, we find PPLive employs a simple neighbor selection mechanism we call it “the fast response, the best”. In such selection policy, peer prefers to select the peers with low response time as neighbors, and most of the data is downloaded from the lower-response neighbors.","PeriodicalId":253478,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE 12th International Conference on Communication Technology","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123548030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That may influence the HPA's power efficiency. Galileo navigation system takes PRN codes to modulate new 4-level subcarriers instead of 2-level subcarriers then obtain a equivalent 8-PSK AltBOC broad band modulation. But it's arduous to understand the complicated modulation way which multiplexes 4 navigation signal components. And the mathematical formulations are not easy to comprehend. So,in the paper,the author has researched constant envelope modulation's characteristics and detailed 8-PSK AltBOC principles by describing phase jumping rule of the E5 signal's Fresnel plot.
