This diplexer consists of two triple-mode stub loaded resonators which have the same size but dissimilar resonance frequencies for combining the diplexer. The proposed diplexer features compact size and can be tuned to be functioned as together two resonators such that the pair of even-mode resonant frequencies can be flexibly controlled while the odd-mode resonant frequency is reserved at the fundamental frequency. The diplexer operating at 1.75/1.95 GHz, and exhibits sharp attenuations near its passband is implemented and the area of the circuit is only 0.35λg × 0.40λg. Unlike traditional LSM using only one single frequency to illuminate in a certain direction, the proposed approach utilizes a frequency scanning MTM antenna array to perform frequency-space mapping over the targeted three dimensional (3D) background that includes unknown objects, resulting in a significantly increased field-of-view (FOV). The information obtained from the frequency-space scanning scheme is then transferred to the LSM analysis to detect the locations and shapes of the unknown objects. The proposed novel frequency scanning scheme in combination with LSM serves as an efficient 3D remote sensing scheme without the use of any phase shifters.","PeriodicalId":253460,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE MTT-S International Conference on Microwaves for Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133072851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm is based on the analysis of the superposition of several reflections at a high target. The result is a superposition of the different received signals. In this paper, a technique is proposed to detect the superposition and consequently classify targets as low or high. Characterized by both theoritical investigation and full-wave simulation, the proposed bandpass filters are designed consist of dual-band bandpass filters and quadruple mode bandpass filters with miniaturized size. The proposed filter is found to have benefits such that the even-mode resonant frequencies can be flexibly controlled while the odd-mode resonant frequency is reserved for the fundamental frequency. Since the structure of resonators is realized using common via holes, the difficulty and complexity of the fabrication process can be shortened. In order to achieve compact size, the total number of resonators is reduced so that the implemented resonators only occupy a small area.","PeriodicalId":253460,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE MTT-S International Conference on Microwaves for Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM)","volume":"249 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122739245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, all intelligent vehicle seemed to agree on a combination of non-cumulative error localization method like GPS with more precise localization method but suffered from cumulative errors like Laser-SLAM with an odometer. However, as GPS is only available for outdoor environment and since the indoor environment is also an important scenario for intelligent vehicles, a replacement of GPS for indoor localization is required. Successfully replacing GPS will not only provide a reliable indoor localization method for vehicles but also keep the architecture of vehicle localizing system consistent and achieve a smooth transition from outdoor to indoor and vice versa. Often, movement speed for indoor vehicles will be as low as 10–12km/h [1] but still, it surpasses the movement speed of human walking (3–5km/h) and presents a challenge for a tight and complex environment. This paper proposes an improved WiFi-fingerprinting method to replace GPS behavior for the indoor environment. The key contribution is to use a raw data smoothing technique with an ensemble classification neural network method to deal with noisy WiFi signal strength. Also, environment constraints are applied to improve localization result. Experiments show this method is capable of replacing GPS for the indoor environment.","PeriodicalId":253460,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE MTT-S International Conference on Microwaves for Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126933193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is controlled by a redundantly implemented, customized flight control and equipped with a comprehensive embedded system for radar baseband processing. Both systems are synchronized with a common, low-phase noise and temperature-stable reference clock, which allows coherent acquisition and continuous recording of sensor data. A commercial differential GPS system is used for positioning. The platform potentially allows interferometric remote sensing with synthetic apertures. In a first case study, it is equipped with a bistatic 24GHz MIMO radar system to create a side-looking-airborne-radar, allowing full interferometric SAR processing.
